Stop it with the "paid ending DLC"

The fact is with the release of ME2, they offered us a lot of free DLC and we praised it.
What have Bioware given us so far that's really worth our attention?
They only went and charged people for the first piece of DLC so far, and the other bit is multiplayer, which not everyone is into.
Personally, I think BW should give us the ending DLC for free and if it's well done, then by all means charge us for the rest.

They have just finished colossal work. They are not supposed to continue working anymore for free(even if their finished product sucks in some way).
As for me - I do not care if it's paid or not. My favourite series has been spoiled. I beg them to fix it. I'm gonna pay if they do.
And this is why they can get away releasing such tripe, because they know they can do no wrong as long as they keep charging you money you'll keep bending over and paying.

I actually prefer it was not free. If it was free, you can guess what ending we would get >_>
Are you noticing what we got for 60 bucks? If THAT is level of delivery for money paid with Bioware, I predict they will end up in the list of "no longer existing"-list of EA studios.

This. Basically, I would rather buy DLC that fixes the ending than not have the ending fixed.

so you are setteling down for them to exploit you the last 5 minutes have plot holes capable of swallowing a complete arm of the galaxy the ending in it self scream DLC or EA unrealistic dead lines any dev who played the whole game knew it they knew it was gonna go in hell when ever it would be released.Defiantfa11 wrote...
We would get THIS if it was free
and if we settle for this kind of crap they will soon make us enter our credit card at the begining of the game and befor each passage of the game make us pay 1 bucks for the lowest one 2 for the bug free version and 5 for the one that does not cause any plot holes (hell thier DLC system is almost there)
common guys show that you won;t accept being bull****ed by a compagnie that rolls on millions and always try every little sneaky strategie to milk every penie you have

these plot holes need to be fixed for free now if they wanna add some dlc content after the plot holes have been fixed fine for them.
but we need to stop setteling for crap if we bow down and buy a DLC only to fix what they broke we are basicaly saying it's alright put out crap and then have me pay so you fix what you did wrong.

Anyway...
At this point I'd prefer they do a "broken steel" that not only addresses the ending, but adds a large amount of bonus content to the game for a price.
In the mean time, it would be nice of them to add a free optional fix that just cuts everything out after Anderson's death.

This. I'm not unreasonable. If it's not free, then it's an acceptable compromise.

It was unreasonable for them to end the game the way they did.

A paid DLC will be far bigger and have far more content and effort put into it than one they're going to make a 100% loss on by giving out for free.
I don't want to pay for something I was promised in the first place and didn't receive, but I'd rather pay for top quality and a full fix than be given the minimum they can spare that just polishes the turd for free.
This.
If it has to be paid for to be top quality then I'll pay for it. Grudgingly. But it'd be the last penny they'd ever get out of me.

Bad analogy is bad. They didn't "break" anything in a sense.

5$ is actualy what the devlopement costed
10$ is the publicity
20$ the PR to cover thier back
and the rest is profit
stop trying to make me cry over the poor multi-national compagnie that EA is

If you expect nothing good for free, just look at CDProject as a shining example of FREE fan service. It's just an easy question of "are enough people willing to pay for it? Oh really? Okay, let them pay then". By now every community complaint turns out into another opportunity for BW to get more cash, in the future I as a game developer would release only half-assed stuff now and wait for the business ideas from angry fans.

That is the cost of building up a good PR.
And as I have said multiple times, I am not gonna pay them to fix what they have messed up in the first place.
Either they make it free, or I go right away to Youtube.

While each of us are entitled to our opinions, it is important to remember that if we want our own opinions respected, we need to respect the opinions of others, rather than telling them to stop voicing their opinions simply because they do not agree with us.

The cinematics may have been practically the same but they were cinematics.

This.
Paying for a good ending is probably one of the worst things you could do for the industry, it just tells the publishers that they can get away with that. (Same with day 1 DLC)
I already see the advertisments: "Did not get your favortie coulour in the ME 3 endings? Here are the yellow and violet endings for 10 $!!"
