In brief, someone posted on BioWare's facebook page along the lines of "we're listening, but we don't have any changes planned". This was swiftly deleted and a twitter post from Jessica Merizan tried to reassure everyone "Someone misspoke on our Mass Effect channel. We're still gathering feedback to create content that keeps it in mind." As a result some people are saying "hey, give them a break" and others are furious at this apparent cover-up.
What I'm posting this for is to tell you it doesn't matter whether you think they're lying or not. It honestly DOES NOT MATTER what BioWare is saying. It doesn't matter if they're saying that they're listening or not or whether they say they're taking into account our feedback on the ending or not because barring any sudden breaking of ranks and leak of information we have no objective way to prove it one way or another.
If you think they're lying then you're probably already still fighting the campaign. But even if you think they're being honest don't back down. There is absolutely nothing wrong with us staying united and repeatedly stating what we want, clearly and politely. And if they ARE listening so much the better, lets give them something to listen TO. Its no good just going "oh, well they said they'll listen to us so job done". The only time we can truly say that we're a step closer to our goals is when they give a firm and definitive commitment that something is being done. Until then we have every right in the world to stand our ground rather than just accepting the "we're listening" coming out of BioWare.
In short: keep holding the line. Right until we actually accomplish something. Don't break ranks when someone from BioWare throws you a bone. Stand strong until we have something concrete.
Lets stand united, like the galaxy did against the Reapers, and Take Back Mass Effect together. United we stand, divided we fall.
