Never thought I'd leave Chakwas behind but she really pissed me off in ME3. Next time I'm taking Michel with me.

I took Dr. Michel on my first playthrough, for a change of pace and to get Dr. Chakwas 10 points worth of War Assets.

Chakwas is one of your people. She stuck with you through stealing the Normandy, through Cerberus, which could have led to her getting tried as a war criminal, now she wants to help you again. How can you turn her down?

Did Chakwas the 1st time, Michaels the 2nd time (for the Chakwas war assets).

It was surprisingly tough turning down Chakwas.

Wish both of them had a little more dialogue on the ship.

Chakwas was an option? Guess I should have had someone escort her back to the SR-2 after I got her out of the Collector pod. Oh well.

The only advantage I know of for leaving Chakwas behind is the War Asset bump. Not much dialogue, though it is amusing to hear her talk about Mordin.

Why? Did I miss something? The only thing I saw was that the Alliance didn't station her aboard the Normandy. Not really her fault.

Don't know if someone already posted this but you get more war asset points if you take Michel, not much though.

So grateful to be discussing something OTHER than the ending. I know, I know,..that's my own fault. Just could NOT bear to leave Dr. Chakwas. I mean, really, She called myShep her "immovable center." She joined the Normandy crew in ME2 for MYSHEP. No way I was leaving Dr. Chakwas behind.

Dr. Michel is standing right next to Dr. Chackwas when you enter the hospital. You can only recruit her if you turn Dr. Chackwas down first. If you don't recruit Dr. Michel, she'll be standing around the lobby for all of act 1. You can talk to her to get updates on the VS's condition while their hospitalized and ask her questions about how well the hospital is handling the war.
