Michel because I am a sucker for the accent and if I have to have my junk looked at, a sexy sounding age appropriate doctor vs. someone's grandma equals Michel for me every time. I am just sad I didn't know I could choose her until my 3rd playthrough.

Gotta give credit where credit is due - this is one of those cool little choices that Bioware didn't have to give us...they could have just had Michel make a cameo and reassign Chakwas (or replace her if she died in 2) to the normandy, but they left it up to the player.
Much as I may dislike the ending, game elements like this are why I like Mass Effect.

Chakwas and Michel give you different rewards for completing the refugee mission. Michel gives you a medi-gel expansion of 1. Chakwas increases the efficiency of your medi-gel letting you use each one roughly two to three times. Chakwas provides the better reward.

yes, but you get a better EMS bonus from having Chakwas stay on the Citadel. There are really too many med kits around in game already IMO. I never run out even on insanity. They end up being just big XP boosts for me. there are decent benefits both ways.

My Shep has issues with letting go. He needs the Normandy to stay the same to be able to function. No way he's letting Chakwas get away from him. Good thing she's as opposed to change as he is.

Nah, of course it's not that. I took her in a heartbeat in my first playthrough. But it was one of her comments on the Normandy when she argued against Adams about synthetics. I sided with Adams and she said "of course you were going to say that, you two are practically machines."tractrpl wrote...

I'm looking out for my homies Kaiden and James. When the Normandy crash lands, I think they would prefer someone they could actually repopulate with. She also has a hot french accent and will more than likely live longer.

IGN Cheerleader is worth 20 total if you do all interviews.
And I agree about there being too many medkits, but to me, the Chakwas bonus means more XPs in the long run. If anything... now that I'm thinking about it, it may be fun to never purchase medigel capacity upgrades and get the Chakwas medi-gel bonus to see how much extra XP that is.
