Since I don't play MP and was never really attached to her, I'll take Dr. Michel and leave Dr. Chakwas on the Citadel every time.

How did you get Chakwas to die in ME2?

Even if you wait 10 missions before going after the crew, she survives to complain about Shepard not arriving sooner (if one plays past the suicide mission).

Leave Dr. Chakwas for a tiny boost in TMS.

With Dr. Chakwas you get a medigel boost when you complete her Citadel mission (which happens after the Cerberus coup). Dr. Michel also has a different kind of medigel boost when you complete her Citadel mission instead (which also happens after the Cerberus coup).

Either way, you still get a Citadel mission for some kind of medigel boost when you take either doctor. The only difference is that you get a little more TMS by leaving Dr. Chakwas on the Citadel (where she goes and joins Hackett's project instead).

Then, there is the whole changes in dialog. Dr. Michel can't be as familiar with Engineer Adams as Dr. Chakwas is. You don't get to share the brandy with Dr. Michel. You don't learn a little bout Dr. Chakwas' trauma from the Collector abduction. The synthetic "life" versus organic life argument is rather bland with Dr. Michel.

For TMS: Take Dr. Michel and tell Dr. Chakwas to stay. If you fail to tell her to stay, you don't get the TMS. You have to tell her to stay on the Citadel before charming/intimidating Michel onto the SR-2.

For the camaraderie, take Dr. Chakwas.

Yes. You have to charm/intimidate Dr. Michel onto the SR-2 after telling Dr. Chakwas to stay. That means you have either played ME3 before with enough paragrade points or imported an ME2 save where you had Dr, Chakwas all the way through.

It is like they really want you to take Dr. Chakwas over Dr. Michel. (Dr. Chakwas even lays on a guilt-trip if you tell her to stay on the Citadel.)

Doctor Chakwas also has the better medigel upgrade from the Medical Supplies quest.

Michel gives you +2 medigel capacity. Chakwas gives you a 50% chance of not expending the medigel.

For the play-through of ME2 I'm referring to, I intentionally did it as crappy as possible, making as big a hash of the Suicide Mission as possible.  I choose not to assign any Squad Members to escort Dr Chakwas or anyone else who survived back to the Normandy.

I like Dr. Chakwas, but after 2 games, I wanted someone different. The granny doctor was nice to have as an anchor of sophistication but during one play through I wanted the sexy voice doctor to accompany me instead

I think saving Dr Michel on the citadel in 1 should make her a warasset if you pick chakwas to come with you on the normandy. If nothing else linked to citadel defence as an update. But I guess it's too late for that.

Poor Garrus; turned down in his quest for love at every turn. First Tali chooses Shepard over him, then Shepard doesn't let Dr. Michel on the ship, then the Normandy crashes and breaks, so he can't spend more time with his true love of calibrations.

It's not easy being green.

I suppose there are some men out there who play femshep, but just not for me... getting with Traynor is just not worth something like that

I started a different play with Dr Michelle on the Normandy... It didnt take me long to feel so sorry..
Whilke i was playing it kept buzzing in my head.. this is not good! Fire Michelle and get Chakwas back asap.

So i did and i reloaded my savegame.

I have used both on the Normandy. Each one gives you something different regarding medi-gel use.

Now if we could find out what happens to Dr. Michel after the coup since she is only one of the medical staff to disappear from hospital.

Chakwas. She was just too good a character. Plus, sharing that Serrice Ice Brandy is always fun.
