Hi,
i bought the classic version of ME2 but my dvd-drive cannot read the disc.
The drive tries to load the discs (both discs arent recognized) but after some time it stops and is doing nothing anymore. Deamon Tools is already deinstalled, system is vista home on an asus notebook.
Any suggestions?
Cannot install ME 2

If both discs are not recognized, perhaps it is a problem with the drive itself. Maybe you should look into a new one if it does this with other discs as well.
If your notebook is still under warranty, consider contacting ASUS as well.
Or, you could consider an external DVD drive. Here is a cheap one.

thx for the reply, but ME3, ME1 and many others are recognized without any problems, so the drive itself should be fine.
I can only imagine that there is a problem with the copy protection of ME2. Tried to disable the Vista burning function, but the reg value doesnt exist (or i am to stupid to find it...)
Otherwise i dont really know what to do...
Maybe Bioware or EA can help:lol:

You'll have to contact EA, direct, yourself. There is no oversight from them here. Bioware has no tech support of its own, and is not regularly visiting forums this long after game release.
