Mass Effect: Datapad. one of my friends has this app (Mass Effect:
Datapad) for his Ipad, and he let me check it out the other day and i
thought it was really awesome. Unfortunately though i only have a high
end android phone and no "I" device at all of my own. i was wondering if
Mass Effect: Datapad will be released for Android at some point. I know
that Mass Effect: Infiltrator (which was also awesome btw) was
eventually released for Android, and i was just curious about Mass
Effect: Datapad's release date. if it's not planned on being released on
Android please let me know also.

Especially since iOS devices are rapidly becoming the minority in the market as Android takes over!

It either needs to be cross-platform, or removed from the game mechanic altogether.

It doesn't work for the iPhone, why would it work for Android?  

Stop offering to pay for it.  We're already getting humped having this asinine "GAW" tie-in anyway - why make it worse?

Im bumping this thread.
I JUST got the newest android as a early bday present. wats the first thing i do once i go to the
app store? search for this datapsd app ASAP. U cant imagine my utter heartbrake when i discovered its STILL not on android. Srsly bioware. Is it that hard to have the app supported on other devices? if u got infiltrator on android- which is an actual GAME- im sure this datapad will be a breeze to port over.

Do it bioware! We're waiting :/ Still.

I've been without Datapad on my i device for about a month now because it just flat out doesn't work anymore. It wasn't even the iOS6 update that killed it for me, it just stopped working one day...

Well I just found out about this thing, and I want it bad. So it stopped working? Well then it's just one more reason to b!tch about it, hoping they'll restore it AND port it to the Android market. Just because it stopped working shouldn't stop people from asking to making it functional again or necro'ing threads. The thread is dead, the issue at hand however is not.

I mean, ME3 is far from dead in the water due to it's multiplayer alone, plus we still get frequent events like Operation Prophecy just now, so there's still inventment from EA on this. The trilogy pack is out, the DLC's still kicking in. There's no reason not to complain about lackof Android support or a dead app.

So yea I'm still interested in this, and necro'ing because I can.

There is still hope. According to Ryan Warden, who also did the ME1 PS3 conversion, they are bringing the Datapad for iOS back on track again and when asked, if there'll be an Android version, too, he replied with " ". I'm afraid it's nothing concrete and far from a confirmation, but still...
