They will for sure never nerf any enemies. If anything, they may increase Gold difficulty by either buffing the factions, or nerf exploitables things to prevent easy farming.

Anyway, I like the frequent balance. It keeps the metagame alive, and the uproar of the nerfed ones is always a pleasure to see on the forums.

What? Sabotage is extremely useful on one faction?

Lets break it's neck, burn it with nerfs then buff geth's shields so they have the quickest melee, most health and damaging firearm!

I don't think statis needs anymore nerfs, but why did it get tickled while sabotage got it's face beat in with the nerf bat?

i unlocked the falcon yesterday and wanted to check it out because you people keep saying its beast. and i have to say its not atleast not if you have the m-99 saber. its totaly crap one mag does the same dmg as one shot from the m-99 saber.

Nerf:
- Geth Hunters. Are they super resistent to knock-backs now?
- Ravager HP. A little too high don't you think?

Buff:
- Geth Pulse Rifle
- Gayston
- SMGs
- Javelin

Fix:
- Double-tapping of ops pack/ammo clips
- Brutes causing damage AFTER they die (during their collapse)
- Invisible turrets (yes it happend a few times)
- Stingy grenade crates. GIVE ME MY GRENADE RELOAD
- "Vulnerable" Geth Pyro flametanks. No, they are not extra vulnerable.
- Concussive shot rank 6a (ammo power). Its not working

A lot of guns could use a buff. Most of the shotguns, assault rifles and SMGs are underwhelming. They do not have the stopping power of the snipers and heavy pistols.

I also think the soldier class could use a buff, or at the very least Concussion Shot should be buffed or replaced with something else. It does virtually no damage and does nothing except stagger, which all of the other powers already do anyway. Abilities like Adrenaline Rush and Marksman are great, but the fact that you can't turn them off can easily get you killed if you are not careful. I think that it should work the same as cloak. You are free to use other abilities while Adrenaline Rush/Marksman is active, but doing so will cancel the effect unless you put points into the talent that lets you use one ability while the power is active.

Only thing I really want to see atm is Phantoms not being immune while they run. In Single player they're only 'immune' when they have up there personal bubble shield. In Multiplayer the little girlies end up being immune to damage when there running half the time and auto-regen hp to full second or 2 after going invisible. It's a damn pain in the ass if you can't hurt them half the time 'while' there on the move then add the damn auto hp/barrier regen.

Maybe limit there HP heal to a set number like there carrying survival op packs like the players are something, 1-2 shots per Phantom. I dunno but I'd like some re-balancing on them to better fit there actual story design.

Damn ridiculous.

I like where the Reapers are at. I can kill ravagers in 3 shots on gold and banshees are easy to kite around if your team isn't dumb. Biotic explosions > Reapers.

I'm positive this is working as intended. If you watch their death animation, they do a dying swipe as they fall down.

Right, but the damage is area of effect with stagger.  On maps where enemies pass through chokepoints, a guy with a Falcon can permanently lock down an entire spawn point.  It's a poor gun against one enemy, but it can easily become the highest DPS gun in the game against multiple targets.

Also keep in mind that you can bounce the grenades off walls, which permits dealing damage without ever experiencing return fire.

Concussive Shot is a flexible solution to one of the Soldier's biggest liabilities: a lack of damage mitigation.  While I'd agree that it's far from the best power in the game, it's better than an awful lot of powers as well.

i hope the do a overhaul on grenades and assault rifles in general. they are crippling the Soldier on harder difficulties, and it hardly sounds like its a small group of people that agree.

The machine guns (Geth Pulse Rifle/Revenant/maybe Phaeston...haven't tried that one yet) need their damage doubled. At least. Seriously. Or 50% increase with passive AP ammo.

They can survive a fully charged Graal shot at point blank range on bronze. Nothing else can do that unsheilded, not even a guardian.

SMGs are in dire need of some buffing. They are currently only useful cause of their 90% weight reduction for killing the little creepers that the ravagers send.
Some assault rifles are quite terrible, and the Javelin for being a black rare is absolutely useless.

DOUBLED?  You want the Revenant to do more damage than the Mattock?!

I still bet you wouldn't use it on an Asari Adept if they did such nonsense.

Considering it takes around 50-70 rounds to kill a single unshielded grunt with the Geth Pulse Rifle V (With Marksman even); and somewhere around that with the Revenant III...yes.

Weapons should be stronger than powers somewhere around the IV-VI range. It takes about two hours to reach full damage potential on any power-dependant class. It takes waaaaaaaay longer and a ton of credits to reach full damage potential on gear-dependant classes...and they're still not half as strong as power-dependant classes.

Edit: It's also worth mentioning that the LMGs are the heaviest guns in the game. Since heavy weapons prevent you from using powers that often (which are extremely powerful), they should be extremely powerful themselves.

From what Ihave read so far on the forums , nerfing weapons does not seem like the right way to go. I think they will try and make more classes viable in gold (i can't play gold , i am the suck, but i read the forums)

Not going to happen, but...I'd like the option to upgrade any weapon for a set amount of credits (relative to the weapon's rarity and its current level).

It just takes too much time to upgrade a weapon you like to a decent level. I only ever seem to use power-dependant classes because I just don't have the firepower to make the weapon-oriented ones viable. Soldiers et al would be so much more enticing if I could spend some serious credits upgrading the weapon I felt was right for them.

ALWAYS KILL THE RAVAGERS FIRST. It's rare that anyone dies to the Banshee, but while you're being cute and kiting the thing around, that Ravager blasts YOU in the ass, AND the two people that try to Ress you.

After that, kill the Brute. It's got a jump-at-you attack that goes around corners Doom3-style, and the damn thing can punch you into a corner where you're stuck. (I HATE THAT!!)

Once all that's down, you can focus on the Banshee. I know she's more scary, but really, in a situation like that, she's my LAST priority. If she gets really annoying, just run away for a bit. Once she's down to armor, she doesn't teleport as much.

Only bad thing is that if you leave her alone, she'll regenerate her barrier. Happened to me once when she had half a frikking pip of armor left. GNAAAAH! :pinched:

The virtue of the Falcon is not its crazy damage. It's the fact that it's AOE and it staggers. It's beautiful crowd control. Follow your vanguard around and keep her alive. The two of you together are a crowd demolishing machine.

I hope they buff the Talon by lowering its weight significantly. It doesn't make sense that a little pistol weighs more than most of the shotguns - there's no reason to choose it over something like the Disciple.

Reaper faction is fine and is working as intended as a pressure unit. Banshee's and brutes get you out of cover while longer range units pound on your flank. TBH it just means you have to prioritize targets. Ravagers can be taken down in seconds if your team focus fires, marauders are a joke, and cannibals are yeah...
