But as a heads up its also for Overload. Overload and Energy Drain create tech bursts also. Still doesnt kick off unless the detonating power kills the enemy. I know this because my friend plays a Salamander Engie and I roll with the Human. We only get tech bursts if we kill the enemy with the detonating power.

Are you honestly this dense? It's easily observable that biotic dets do the most damage, are the easiest to do and expose you for the least amount of time. You're one of the scrubs that thinks they should have left sabotage as it was aren't you rofl.


I do believe you're the dense one, since I've played with plenty of Biotic Deters and I've easily bested all but the most experienced ones. So I'll refer back to the "learn to play" part in my previous post.

u do know this is a coop game where the goal is a teamgoal not a "who has the longest score-peen right? coop is about fun and playing together not whos the most skilled. its about beating a challenge. if the presented challenges do not meet ur standards, dont do them.
I do agree that there needs 2 be some adjustments, but i dont thing its as horrible as u try to state here

people talk balance in pve games...
look at guild wars...

with the correct sin build you can solo anything on hard mode....

arenanet know this...

why dont they fix it...

because that side of the game is non competetive and is treated as such.

same should apply here, so the builds effective as hell..

this is definately not true. u can trigger the powers, but they are not as visible as a biotic explosion. try casting energy drain on a target followed by incinerate and u will see a burst of lightning coming out of the target. u wont notice any written stuff about the techburst but its there. do thing i said on multiple geth and u will see they all get staggerd

I actually think class wise the balancing is fine. And I also noticed, for biotics, that the enemies roll and hop like 100% more it seems...

While I would usually agree with you, We played with 4 Adpets on Gold and Wrecked every Reaper that came with us.

However, I still do not think they need to be nerfed. We played with 4 Salarian Engineers and still wrecked everything.

Hmmm come to think of it we haven't lost a gold match in at least the last 20 or so we played no matter the class combos we used, even with out Biotic spamming...

It's time for Platinum Difficulty. If the Nerf Babies don't like it, they can stay on Gold ""Difficulty".

Platinum Difficulty shouldn't be the same old pumped up with bigger numbers, it should be qualitatively DIFFERENT. That is an important quality in a game, being different counts for a lot.

How come there are always, in every game, so many crybabies complaining about how tough the game is? You have easy mode! Go play it! And how come their suggestions always amount to the same old same old?

Besides the fact that if weapons were king it'd alienate the actually good players because the weapons you get are entirely left up to chance, and even with the current system that still screws people over.

If the weapons were reasonably balanced, you wouldn't BE screwed over by not getting one of the 10% of decent weapons - you may not get the one you had your heart set on, but you would still get something you can use. No pack truly a waste, every weapon viable. This is not PvP, buffing other classes/builds does not screw you over in any way, either. And if you were worried about the game becoming too easy, then you probably wouldn't be fighting so adamantly to keep biotics/techs/explosions the way they are. :V They've been buffing enemies too, no reason to say that won't continue, as well.

More variety in worthwhile weapons/builds, being able to shore up class/build weaknesses, make the ME equivalent of a battlemage, or even just play however the hell you enjoy playing, none of these would hurt the game at all. The powers have huge AoE, huge damage, awesome buffs/debuffs - all in one. A few weapons have tolerable single target damage (except the Falcon, which has its own limitations), the rest just make people angry when they show up in packs. And as far as pandering to the BF3 crowd, I seem to recall there being quite a bit of gunplay in that terrible Mass Effect trilogy, they might be pandering to those horrible fans too.

It's not about score, it's about variety and balance. If you're beating either player in a biotic det duo you're playing with mouth breathers. They simply have more damage potential, while being easier and safer. Only an infiltrator with Widow/BW comes close for damage and it's much more difficult to use by comparison.

The game is easy enough without biotic detonations making a mockery of the difficulty. I can excell regardless of class, but short of infiltrator's tac cloak versatility there's no reason to play anything but biotic classes except for ****s and giggles they're straight up inferior.
