I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I think the games plot would have been much more interesting in the end if Cerberus turned out to have actively contributed to destroying the reapers. While Ceberus is looked at as a xenophobic group, looking at how the other races treated humanity when they needed them most, one could argue that Cerberus was born necessary for humanity. Back to what I was saying though, I think Bioware could have taken Cerberus in a whole different direction, while maintaining that Cerberus was evil up to the ending where they would be funneling their resources into the war against the reapers.

I guess I find Cerberus more compelling as heroic group with a fundamental character flaw, rather than the outright evil group that they get portrayed as. Having that twist in the end where TIM actually ends up coming through for you, and perhaps reveals the purpose of what he was doing on different planets. I think that kind of plot twist would have been more interesting than him just going mad with power and berserk with ambition. What do you all think?
