I sometimes wonder if it's people being contrary just to be contrary.
Mostly this IMO. My roommate's opinion is "the ending is fine, stop whining"
Pretty sure if I'd have not said anything he would have a different opinion.
Your roomate is partially right. The ending is good, but not as an ending, and they should have at least showed us the rest after Shepard wakes up from indoctrination or from resisting indoctrination or whatever. But still...stop whining.

I would call people stupid, working with customers all day long it pretty much becomes an established fact. What exactly about their position of liking horribly stupid endings makes them smart?
So um, they are stupid because they don't like the same things you do? Great we have another moral compass...
Btw, good luck with your career, I really try hard not to point out how hilarious your comment is from someone who should like customers who, erm, pay his/her salary.
Hi, can you please explain to me how having 10 plotholes in 10 minutes is the definition of a good ending? Only then can I take you seriously.

I think the main difference between the "haters" and the "likers" is this;
"Ending likers" just play the game for the action. No time to think about stuff, just play through and go back to #insert any COD-title here".
"Ending haters" reflect on what they are experiencing, read the codex, play the game with lore in mind. "Ending haters" take a part in the wonderful world.
Your entitled to your view of course. But I take offense to this.
I would argue that the majority of Ending Haters had a pre constructed view of what the ending should have been, and when this wasn't presented to them - it shook their foundations.
The Ending likers I have spoken to seem to be looking at it from a philosophical / moral / spiritual point of view, and as such debating different theories as to what it means.
To say that people like myself are not into the series and it's lore / history etc and a nothing more than action loving COD players is a massive sweeping statement founded only on your perception and stereotypes.
I would argue that it is you that needs to open your mind.

When the rest of the game has a factor of 10 or even 100 lower ratio of plotholes per minute, can you please explain to me why you think they are plotholes and not intentional clues that what you have is an unreliable narrator? Kthxbai.

If ME3 was your first of the series and you played through it as a action game ..
the ending would be just fine, no problem.
If you played the previous games, then its a huge issue and makes absolutely no sense.

That's like people assuming that all the Hold The Line crew are self-entitled babies. It's a sweeping generalisation that makes no sense.

That statement makes no sense. You choose how to spend your own time. Don't blame your forum trolling time wasting ways on me.

Because the boards are moving more slowly so the "I like the ending" threads aren't falling as fast. Percentage-wise it's still the same number of threads and posters, just they're not getting drowned out as quickly, probably because everyone is exhausted from the weekend.
Our Choices Should Matter - Hold the Line
Except percentage of threads on a forum has zero relationship to anything worth quoting.
Your choices do matter, you just don't get a novel of exposition as to who had blue babies with who and who started a farm on what planet 40 years after the events. Whatever.

And I like it for the fact that it causes you to think if it's real or not. But I'd like to have more flesh around the bones, still. My biggest complaint about them is that they feel "rushed".
