There seems to be this worrying gulf in mindset between lots of us fans and the devs. I get the very honest impression that they are completely shocked at the negative reaction whereas from my side on the fence i'm completely shocked that they can't have seen the huge glaring problems with the ending.
I agree. It's hard to understand it's even the same game we're talking about.

Eating while reading this is not recommended. My cereal now tastes like confusion and betrayal.
Not sure if a whole box of Lucky Charms could have saved you.

If they were planed then why the heck was everyone saying in interviews that we all get different ending from the choices we make?As late as Jan we got Casey saying it won't be A B or C
Simple. They're liars.

But...maybe they went even further! Maybe...Bioware indoctrinated themselves!

As stated in , I think it was one of Hudson's big statements, they consider "The whole game to be a series of endings.
So I'm willing to bet they consider each section that closes a plot line, like the end of Tuchanka and Rannoch, to be "part of the different endings."

At first I thought that maybe this whole issue was a big conspiracy on Bioware's part to show the true dangers of indoctrination by having Shepard being indoctrinated without the player really being aware of it...in effect making the player indoctrinated!
But...maybe they went even further! Maybe...Bioware indoctrinated themselves!

That's... that's completely devoid of how people view a story, it IGNORES everything we're taught about how we write a story. Whether it is the 1st book or the 20th in a series, it always maintains that arc of narrative.

This sounds nothing at all like our ABC ending with plotholes, spacemagic and teleports.
I so hope there will be a DLC ending, i love mass effect

I'm sure they do. The problem is that the way it ends calls everything you did before into question.Avissel wrote...

Some people forget that Casey forced Mac to change a part of the ending. It's not all Mac.
Its not like he got him to take out the reason, logic or choice though. It's sill basically the same ending, and keeping everything would still be a huge nonsensical clustershag.
I really can't understand how blind Mac must be to what he was writing. This is the polar opposite of what we actually got, it's just baffling.
