 Hi,

I hope someone can help.

I have been playing with no issues for a few days but this morning when scanning a planet, I am unable to exit as the 'Escape' key does not seem to be recognised by Mass Effect 3. The only way to leave is to shut down ME3.

This is really crippling the gameplay as I can now no longer scan planets.

the Escape key works fine in Windows and other applications so I am not sure what the issue is. I could not find it listed in the Keyboard shortcuts in the options menu?

Please help, I love this game but can't get on with it now!

It happened to me. In my case, I had an application in background that was intercepting the input (Photoshop in my case). I found it weird but once I closed it, everything worked fine. So you may try closing any background app running.
