I wanted to ask a few questions I think are relevant to the me3 ending and hopefully a way to start a discussion without the hate and indoctrination theories [though some are really good]

what do you think the reapers are?

do you believe in the technologic singularity theory? http://en.wikipedia....cal_singularity

taking a future technological singularity as fact what would be your solution?

faced with Sheppard's decisions in real life,[ imagine skynet is about to go online and a enemy from space shows up and starts eliminating all life and technology on earth because we reached that event horizon. your family and friends are killed by this enemy from the sky and you are now face to face with its "conscience" and it gives you Sheppard's choices. destroy, control, synth.] what would you do?

do you think the synthesis ending will destroy what it is to be "human" and even though we do not know the meaning of life would synthesis change "the meaning of life"

is true A.I. life?

my answers:

1] i do not think the reapers are ai, it seems they are controlled and do not think or live independently. I am not sure why they seem to need organic life, the catalyst suggests it is to preserve the advanced species as some sort of uplifted state.[i think could be remembering incorrectly]
in the end they are a solution to the technologic singularity but who created them is left unknown. and it seems these questions were supposed to be left unanswered.

2] I have 2 thoughts on this. one is that in the end for life and intelligence to last we will need to integrate synthetic implants to survive space travel and be able to calculate the mathematics it will take to live in a post space flight universe. eventually we will have to grow beyond our planet and galaxy because both are doomed over time and if anything survives from our species or our planet it will need synthetic help. now I also believe that synthetics will be better than organics and will eventually replace organics which goes along with the singularity theory. I also agree any A.I. that knows it was created by a inferior life form will have no reason to not use them like how we use animals with lower intelligence. if we are not needed we will be extinct.

3] if a future singularity is absolutely going to happen then my solution would be more terminator. its going to happen and we probably are not going to win but we will fight and we will not become machines. but like I said this planet will be doomed one day and I only see machines or a synthetic hybrid being able to travel in space.

4]destroy just like I did in game. get my revenge rebuild and worry about the singularity in the future

5] I think the synthesis ending does change the meaning of life or what it is to be alive. part of life is the mystery behind it and if we knew exactly how and why we were created and by who i think it would change how we saw the world and would change how we treat each other and that would change society and in the end we would not be the same.

6] philosophically no. I do not think A.I. is the same as life, but if I got to hang out with legion for a day it might change my mind
