They have been the face of Bioware to me over the last several years. I can't believe after listening to them in interviews over the years, they think this ending is quality, gives closure or is in anyway positive for the Mass Effect franchise.
I think a statement from them is due and would be wise, as the fact is, over 75% of customers are unhappy with the ending. Over 75% is a safe number based on the 3rd party polling so far, which includes everyone from long time customers to people new to the Mass Effect universe. The number among fans who have been here since before ME1 has to be well into the mid 80's to low 90% range.
It would be so great to see a press conference with Walters and Hudson reading apology statements with the doctors standing behind them, like fathers whos sons have run amuk and have to make good by saying sorry and by giving a coherent quality ending filled with closure and choice!
I just want to hear from them or have them involved, as I'm not breaking my customer loyalty built up since KOTOR until I hear their thoughts on this. If I hear nothing from Bioware and nothing is done or said to address the ending, I am finished with Bioware games. Yes, it is that big a deal.
Is their a doctor in the house?
