Not sure. I put 75 hours into my first playthrough and had a whole list of characters reserved for new playthroughs, but I haven't found the will to continue playing them. The DLC plans don't excite me either, quite the opposite. I think I'm done with Dragon Age until the sequel or a new exciting expansion is announced.

youd be suprised, i spent about the same on my first playthrough, and on my second i found soooo much more stuff that i had missed. i also paced myself ont he second cause i dont want to finish before some more dlc gets released. the idea of going back for dlc in an epilogue save doesnt appeal to me much. id rather get xp/gear while its still usefull

This goes on my shelf of awesomeness with Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, NWN 1 & 2, and some more games I got sitting up there that I actively throw in the dvd drive of my tower :) So yes, I will be in it for the long haul. I can't wait to see what campaigns the modding community can come up with, because I am absolutely in LOVE with this games combat engine. But as far as shiny toys goes, DA:O and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have my attention, but DA:O will have it much much longer :P

Like all COD's, it's fun factor relies on its multiplayer. But that's just my opinion, and opinions are like a*sholes :)

Beat Veteran mode in under 8 hours even... yes, if you play 'normal' it's that short.  The graphics are played out... Everything big dissappointment for me.  But, the statement about opinions above is accurate... Everyone has one.

Bringing it back on topic; however, the poster above mentioned MW2's playability is in the multiplayer.  To me, that says exactly what Bioware should have been thinking.  The persistent world multiplayer aspect of NWN was it's single strongest attribute... and, they took it away.  MEGA bummer.  I really wanted to see that persistent world action come back.  I'm no longer an MMO person and really do not want to go back to that.

I really do miss loading up my NWN disc and logging on a persistant server, that was always there and kept up with your players stats/items/etc. I do wish Bioware would bring that back. It makes me want to re-install NWN to see if there are people that still play it online :o

I think there is only so much you can do with this game on Xbox 360. I have already clocked 130 or so hours which is a large lifespan for a video game in all honesty. And I'm sure to replay it sometime.

All sequels and expansions, and DLC released while I'm still playing the game are must buys for me certainly, but at some point I'll go back to GTA 4 which I had just started before I bought this :-)

I plan on staying with dragon age origins through good and bad (= this is one of the most epic RPG games I have ever played and it has left its mark on loyal fans like me

I've been a fanboi for DAO ever since I first heard of it almost 6 years ago. I'm looking forward to the hype dying down and getting rid of a ton of trolls and rude people, it will just make the forums better.

I will be for a while anyways. Normally the bulk of my gaming time is spent on mmorpgs but I'm rather burned out on the ones I considered to be good and most of the newer ones to come out have been really disappointing.

So until an mmorpg comes along that catches my fancy I'll probably be tinkering around with this game quite a bit.

There is no loot whoring in DA:O u do realise that right?

It's useful to check all kinds of boards from time to time but it's going to be at least few years before the possible sequel so it don't make much sense to be active on these boards.

I want to get into modding, but I am waiting for the patches to the game and toolset to come out first.
