When I stop the Mass Effect 3 game from connecting to the EA Server, I cannot load any game that has DLC in it.
To me that is the worst kind of DRM there is.
I can not understand the logic of this.
If I wanted to downloaded 'cracked' dlc I'm sure I could find it in 5 secs. But I choose to buy the game.
Hence this DLC RDM is like being accused of crime and I have to prove myself innocent.
The Solution, is allow EA to connect to my pc, yer I know.
But this is still messed up.

The solution is to force Origin into Offline mode, either by flicking its switch or to upluck your computer from the Interwebs. The game will then start in offline mode, which freezes Galactic Readiness in its last read state and does not need to re-validate whatever DLC you have had previously validated, including From Ashes. Worked fine for me when I had connectivity troubles, once I figured out that I really actually have to uplug the internet cable.

Thanks! It's such bs that you can't access single player when you can't connect to EA's servers just because they thought a From Ashes DRM would be funny.

That is true. IT can tell when you are connected to the net and not allowing connection to ea servers.
I like the idea it can freeze the Readiness rating...

I have to agree, this is stupid and annoying.
