evey time i go on one of the other campines and try to do charater select the game crahes and comes up with that "not responding" message i have try reinstalling it i have even ask a friend to what i did on his copy of the game and it works fine for him and gives his pre-made chars plus the one he has made and i have no idea whats going ok

Its because when you use content from various sources the character bic files end up relying on it to work, when such content is removed and those bic files are still inside your list of characters the game ends up crashing. ( You added feat x y and z and your character took them, then you removed the feats from the game and they are still on the character, which causes the entire game to freak out and crash. )
Basically if you remove all your custom content, you have to remove any characters made with such content. Either remove your characters to a safe spot, or reinstall whatever content was used to create those characters.
It does not cause an issue when adding new content, just when you remove custom content.
I suggest using the -home option to set up custom player folders for the various content you want to use. Then if you remove that content you can just remove the entire folder. ( you create a shortcut and use this as a parameter to your choice of player folder )
