I noticed while I was playing the Silver matches this weekend that I would randomly get 999 ammo and infintie life at random points during a match (especially when Banshees and Brutes would gang screw the group).
Was this a glitch?
Was someone in the group I was in hacking cheats that affected the whole group? It was kind of disturbing so I dropped the group as soon as possible and never experienced it again for the rest of the day. (Saturday)
Any insight?
Weekend Event glitch or group hack?

I'm not sure - I had it happen a few times too. It was the first time I ever saw a Vanguard get a score of over 90K in a silver match

Happened to me, too. I was in a game that gave me 1 million credits after we won. Apparently the host had some cheats running.
I wrote Bioware about this but i don´t know if they´ll do anything.

Yeah, they'll tell you "Don't spend them!" and that's all they'll do. Then if you DO spend them, they will ban you, which will also ban you from SP. Fun, isn't it?
The idea of hosting game files on the server side has apparently never occurred to them. Of course, that would cost them money, so...
