In ME1's DLC Bring down the Sky I chose to kill Balak but for some reason in ME3 he is back from the dead and the dialogue between both of them implies that I let him live. In ME2 I did hear the correct "news broadcast" and I have checked my save's plot flags and saving the hostages isn't checked.
So, just wanted to point out this bug in ME3 to bring it to light.
Anyone else encounter this or maybe didn't encounter Balak when they should let him live?

Did you kill him? Or did you shoot him and left him to bleed?
Because I did the second option and he's still alive.
Apparently nothing but a simple clear death in Bring Down the Sky will kill him.

I did kill him, I didn't rescue the hostages.
After reading the wiki page on the dlc I don't remember if I left him for the Alliance or shot him, it has been years since I have played ME1.

If you tried to bleed him to death or leave him for the alliance, he's not dead
