I replayed mass effect 2'sz ending because I realized my save didn't include my dlc purchases, but I still only have the option to pick the save from before I purchased dlc, how can I choose the latest save?

In ME2, if you select "change career", do you have more than one Sheppard? If so, delete the others you don't want.
Load your game, go somewhere (Shadow Broker, say, or Citadel). Save game. Get back on Normandy, save the game again.
Try to import in ME3.
If it still is not working, I suggest you re-play ME2 on easy. If you skip the cinematics, it should be quick enough.
