They worked so hard on Mass Effect 3 and now everyone's being mean to them because of the ending. Could you imagine what it would be like if all of your fans suddenly turned against you?
I think we need to show our emotional support for Bioware. Even though we didn't like the ending we need to let them know that we still love and care about them and everybody makes mistakes.
Anyone else feel sorry for Bioware?

No. Just as I don't feel sorry for HItler.
Yes I did just compare Mass Effect 3 to the Holocaust.

No.
They worked hard to ensure "lots of speculation" and an "unforgettable" ending. And their efforts went horribly right. It's the kind of success that makes you wish you failed.

Well the game was great but we would not be so "hard" on BW if they said anything, and frankly if you make alot of promises you should really to keep them. And make the series replayable wich is not anymore in my opinion

I feel bad for them under the pretense that they legitimately liked the ending they made. Poor judgement? Perhaps.

I feel bad for all the devs except Casey Hudson and Mac Walters.

I'm sorry but I don't see how they didn't see this coming. Did they not do ANY focus testing to see what the reaction to the ending would be? The game in general is great, but the ending ruins the whole thing.
So, no I don't feel sorry for them. They have only themselves to blame for this disaster.

yes, very much so. because i'm convinced they wanted to do the best for everybody. they're not evil people.
some of you would do well to remember that they're people, after all.

A bit, yes.
I can understand how after producing a piece of work you were pleased with - that you thought your fans would like - it would hurt to have such criticism. However, it's also necessary, just as criticism is necessary in improving and fixing mistakes.
BW are great but not infallible. They will make mistakes. It is important for us to draw attention to those mistakes and for BW, like any artist, to fix them and learn from them.

Yeah, I do. It sucks putting heart and soul into something and have so many people be upset over it. I'm not saying it excuses the ending - but I do sympathize.

Nope. We haven't exactly 'turned' against them, we just want them to listen to us and acknowledge our complaints.

They took my money and I didn't get the product that was advertised in pre-release hype and interviews.
No I don't feel sorry.

we are not trying to kill bioware, we are trying to get an ending we were promised, if they fix it, we are happy they are happy, everyone is Happy

No. I might have if they hadn't outright lied to us, but they did. So no.

We'd be cheery if they just gave us an announcement.

Absolutely not. They falsely advertised a product and ran off with our money without saying a word. They should be held accountable. I do feel sorry for Jessica Merizan though, I think her sympathy with us is actually legitimate. I think my suggestion for her is to work for another company since the bioware ship is sinking.

If McDonald's screws up my big mac I don't feel sorry for them.
If a blockbuster movie bombs, I don't feel sorry for the studio.
If a business cannot hold up their end of the deal, I do not feel sorry for them.
