mass effect 3 is a great game, not perfect, but pretty close to. just the endings after the last choice are horrible beyond any redemption... I could deal with an ending that I don't like, as long as it makes at least some sense, but that last animation was plain stupid. no excuses for that one. pretty much the worst thing bioware produced throughout the last decade (I am still talking just about the animation after the last choice - rest is debatable, just not that last part).

swotor like all mmorpgs is nothing I would waste even a second at.

da 2 was nice, but had incredible boring parts (=fighting).

Dragon Age 2 was a good game, but okay from a Bioware standpoint, Swtor was great, but I don't have much time for that game anymore and ME3 was amazing till the last 10 minutes, lol.

Whatever you opinions are, and I respect them, there is a few facts you can't dismiss :
-In DA2, it was the same cave seen again and again, with few variations (doors closed or open). Same coastal line, and the same underground/sewer area. Quests were different, places were supposed to change, but the map was exactly the same.
-In ME3, the ending, like it or not, involve a deus ex machina, and have a lot of unexplained plot hole. And lack of closure.

I loved Awakening, I enjoyed Dragon Age 2, and I still enjoy Mass Effect 3. Sounds like 3/3 for me with a personal score of 8.4 out of 10.

My own opinion.

Haters gonna hate. I assume the OP is one of those guys who think That zero is a valid score in meta critic. Alot of people liked those three games. Swtor is considered one of the more successful mmo currently. The general consensous for DA2 is that it was a good game, just not as good as DA:o. And alot of people stated that their main reason for rage on the ME3 ending is because it is in complete contrast to the awesomeness of the rest of the game: the expression "99% best game i played but the last five minutes are crap" is pretty common. I just don't understand why people who hate EA\\bioware come to these site to tell us about it... It's like a republican going to the democratic party site a posts: "**** you hippies! People like ruined these country!"...if you hated every game bioware made since 2007, why do you keep playing their games, and WTH are you doing coming here to tell us how much you hated them, instead of actualy playing a game you like? And don't say "to give feedback". "bioware sucks, EA is the devil" is not feedback...
I loved playing "syndicate" in the 80's. I had no allusion that the new syndicate game will be anything like it, so guess what? Just didn't buy it. I didn't bother going to the new game forum, making threads with topics like: "original syndicate was the best. This steaming pile of crap is garbage", or "they should remake this game into a squad based 3rd person RTS!". I suggest commandeering this thread for a disscussion on how awesome 80's games were. Atleast it will be a positive and constructive direction...

Opinions are valid but facts are more valid.

Enjoying DA2 is one thing. Denying it's obvious flaws and the massive downgrade in quality/value from it's predecessor is something else entirely.

Depends on the person. People need to understand that what people say about a game, wont force others to think the same. You "correcting" my post only shows that you want others to agree with you. I never said anything about facts, im saying that SOME like, SOME dont. Whats wrong with that?

TL;DR2 - We'll be -very- actively looking for feedback on the next DA title, and will be showing the game more than before as it develops.

pretty much..

and i have played swtor and actually LIKE it.  my only issue is the lack of an LFD tool.  because of that, i have zero motivation to get on my level 50 jedi conselor.  i have zero motivation to sit in fleet chat for 5 hours looking for a group.

but i certainly plan on finishing all 8 storylines at some point.  the level 1-50 content is fantastic IMO.  some of the best bioware storytelling to date.

as for DA2, besides the simplified gear system, i really dont see the issue with it.  i thought the game was pretty good.  for those that didnt like it.. meh, whatev.  to each their own..

Way to beat that strawman, dude.

Who around here denies DA2 had serious flaws? Who?

You find all my posts about DA2. I almost always say I like it despite its flaws.

And "massive downgrade in quality/value" is purely subjective and you know it. Otherwise look up the word "massive, quality and value" in your favourite dictionary.com. Yeah, it had some major flaws, but it also improved on a lot too.

But I'm not gonna litigate this again. It'd be a waste of my time and believe it or not, it'd be a waste of yours too.

It's a hilariously terrible ending.

But yeah, it doesn't make it a bad game. It does stop it from being an awesome game, though.

Really? Because they're 3/3 for me.

Oh right, because I like DA2 and the endings for ME3, my opinion is automatically invalid. Gotcha.

I'm sorry that I'm just another stupid **** who can't think for himself and go along with the "majority" rule and can actually like something despite it's flaws. Someday, I hope the blue fairy comes along and turns me into a real boy so I can hate everything that isn't utterly perfect in every way.

DA II actually has a better story.  It was the combat that killed the game for me.....didn't like the changes....

I laughed, only because what you say is true. If you dont agree with others, you get attacked. Its crappy, but thats just how the BSN is.

Honestly, my opinion, people who liked all of ME3 and say its an amazing game, are afraid to even post on BSN anymore, all those who have, have been attacked.

How can you say that!

The combat was clumsy the sub-plots were the same no matter what you decided in ME1 or ME2 or who died in 1 and 2.

The fetch questions of scanning were mind-numbing than the scanning of minerals.

The squad mates had very little story and character interaction.  The inventory system was pointless and mostly redundant as the game can easily be finished using the armour sets you can buy.

And those the only things I can think of right now but I'm sure there are more.

Oh yes Tali's face!

How the combat was clumsy ? it was better then ME1 and ME2 put together. Posted Image

I'm sick of just sitting back and taking it. I've been watching and seeing the vicious attacks on the people who liked the game, and I know that there are others who, like me, enjoyed the game. And you're right, a lot of them probably are afraid to post their support because they don't want to be attacked.

But I'm not that guy.

Don't worry about wasting my time. When I don't have free time, i'm not here. And since you replied about 2 minutes after I posted, i'll assume that you're in the same position.

I'm not even trying to start an argument. It just seems as though a few people use "opinions" as shields to try and mask the truth that certain games, or parts of games, are inferior.

Oh, it's your opinion that DA2 is awesome, so I guess the copy/paste dungeons, single static city and nonsense final act don't matter

Oh, it's your opinion that ME3 ending was good, so I guess the normandy(and crew)'s mysterious teleportation, and godchild's nonsense explanation of the reapers don't matter

Oh, it's your opinion that your '97 civic is faster than a bugatti veyron, so I guess the fact that their top speeds differ by about 100mph doesn't matter

Opinions are great and all, but at some point you gotta call a spade a spade

...imo...

ME3 was great, bar the ending, haven't played SWTOR, Awakening was fine by me. DA2 was not great, but it wasn't SO bad that I had to boycott all future Bioware games.

There is nothing really wrong with SWTOR, most of the complaints seem to be the same, it wasnt KOTOR3, it wasnt SWG2, it wasnt bold enough, its actually a pretty good MMO for as young as it is, one of the best actually, its still an MMO though, if you dont like MMO's, you wont like SWTOR.
