What Bonus Power do you suggest for Soldier class?

I'm currently playing ME3 as a soldier. What bonus power do you suggest?
Since I'm currently relying on weapons use I though inferno grenades would be a wise choice.
What do you think?
Any other suggest?

If Carnage then take Incindiary Ammo for the occasional fiery explosion combo. AR Rush with bonus power spec, fire off some shots to proc Incindiary and then finish with Carnage for a nice boom.
Defense Matrix is the one defensive power in the game that doesn't suck. Emergency shield recharge is a life saver.

Let Liara take care of barriers with Warp.
Defense Matrix is excellent oh sh*t button that fully recharges your shields in emergency and Carnage is good for more aggressive playstyle.

Earlier you suggested to use defense matrix as a bonus power . . . what does it mean that it slows down power

Thats so true thats why I had a hard time figuring which one to use. . . Ap ammo is what I stuck with, it seems to cut thur Guardian shields like butter and great with brutes . . . for the most part AR and Marksman kind of cross paths so that was out and I like pure combat items for my Soldier, so no biotics and the protection powers I can gve myself bonuses with combat armor pieces. . . I stick with upgraded Inferno ammo and use the others for special situations cyro to slow up enemies , disruptor for shields , Ap for brutes and Cerberus Guardians. . . full upgraded CS to use ammo powers with . . . alot of times a CS with cryo will freeze and shatter enemies. . . . inferno upgraded to explosive ammo on CS acts like carnage and AP on CS . . . armored goons don't stand a chance. . . .

It was insane. If you have the revenant or the particle rifle make sure to upgrade the ammo clip capacity and you will erase targets.
I kicked myself mentally thinking this was stupid. But when a charging brute is erased by a revenant/Particle rifle with incendiary ammo within a marksman inside Ad rush on hardcore... it's fun times

Are you sure it actually worked? I mean, it sounds great, but as I said above, the ME wiki says that the Marksman bonus won't work inside of an Adrenaline Rush. They aren't always right on these things though, so if you are right, Marksman would clearly be the best choice.

As a soldier i spent most of my time in an Adrenaline rush since I had basically a 150% cooldown and my armor amped power recharge
Maybe I am wrong. Do cooldowns stack if you use another power in AR?
Would suck if I thought i was using marksman in AR and actually wasnt :<

Incendiary Ammo + Carnage = cause an enemy on fire to explode in a fiery blast that damages any enemy near
Distruptor Ammo + Carnage = cause a stunned enemy to explode with electricity that shocks every enemy near it
Cyro Ammo + Carnage = cause a frozen enemy to explode in shards of ice that damage any enemy around it
