Mass Effect's ending... That was sad.

While the ending in Mass Effect 3 was atrocious in my opinion I don't think I'm going to let it keep me from supporting Bioware in the future since their games are some of the most fun I've had while playing.

1. A lot depends on how they resolve this issue. If they don't release new-ending DLC, they'd better admit they screwed up to a degree not seen in decades...
2. I will ABSOLUTELY NOT be preordering anymore, no matter what happens.
3. I am not so excited to purchase anything more from them given that the last two things were DA2 and this.
The sad thing is, this game was so FANTASTIC up until the crazy part....that is what makes it so sad.

Hey folks, I don't ever post here but I figured there should be a poll for this, it would be interesting to know. It might even give mods some perspective of how this will affect most players. I will be keeping my opinion to myself!

Sadly, there aren't enough decent producers of RPGs to overlook Bioware completely.
Bargain bin, only. None of the expensive Collector's Editions I've been so fond of. I can't take any level of pride in the possession with an ending like this.
As for Mass Effect 3 DLC -- totally tanked unless I get the Ending DLC first or a public promise that it will be made.

Between this and the general disappointment of DA2, I wouldn't say I'm not going to buy Bioware games but there is definitely not going to be any pre-orders, CE's or release day purchases. Will probably end up buying DA3 regardless just to finish it up but most other purchases, games, dlc or otherwise will be put under heavy consideration.
DA2's worst point was spending your entire life in 1 city. Day/Night cycles and re-used <Insert Name Here> <Generic Warehouse> dungeons.

For example many people don't care about a "happy" ending ... they want either what BW promised .. or an ending that is consistent with the lore & "rules" of Mass Effect .. or they wanted an epilogue ... etc. If we could have more options in the poll to properly express our opinion the data would be more helpful.

If they do nothing with the ending, I am sad to say they more likely than not have lost me. Sad, because ME up to those last minutes has no comparison in my gaming history. But as I feel currently I have become even more picky with games (and I was picky before!).
If they amend it to at least make sense, I will no doubt buy games I like the look of, but I will probably very carefully scan for any review mentioning any issues with the ending. And pre-order? No...

there were things more wrong with this game than just the ending

That is, if there won't be an Ending Fix.

Nope. I still love Bioware.
Yeah. I love some liars too. Bioware just hides the fact they are liars.

Not only because of the ending, but because of the shady business of DLC and such. Oh, and terrible amount of auto dialogue.

DA is completly out of the question for me but I might buy another Mass Effect game.
As for DLC's for Mass Effect 3... any DLC that is pre-ending I will not purchase.
