For a single game, no. But, this is strike 2. I was a Dragon Age fan. I will definitely not be pre-ordering anymore. I will wait until fan reviews come out...you know from fans who have actually played.

Well, I won't be buying any non-ending related DLC for ME3. As for entirely new games, I don't think I'll do any more preordering. I'll wait till people have played the entire game.

Never pre-ordering, or buying on day/week/hell even month of release. I may consider getting a bargain priced copy, or a used copy, but only if the review from peers is good....and if I even have any interest in it at all.

Not going to touch anything mass effect related though, unless it's a new ending DLC.

Yes, it does effect my purchase habits. I know for sure that I'm never buying a BioWare game within the first month ever again. I'll likely wait for price drops on future releases. If BioWare now is going to make their games incomplete, I might as well wait for complete versions down the road.

Much though it pains me to do so, I have to stick to my guns. If this travesty of an "ending" is not changed, then I cannot in good conscience continue to risk paying money for games that come without an ending. Especially ones that were sold on a premise that, if not outright lying, then at least implicitly twisting the truth considerably in advertising a "conclusion that takes into account player choices and actions, as well as answering all questions". I had already been angered with issues similar to these with Dragon Age 2 and I decided to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt, even though I felt from the start of their acquisition by EA that it was a bad move. But I can't do that anymore. No matter how much I may want to play Dragon Age 3 or STOR, I am refusing to buy them, and any associated DLC.

Mass Effect and KOTOR are the only games I've bought from Bioware.

So IDK

As for the Current game, If the DLC appeals to me then I will think about buying it. A couple of years down the road a game comes along and it seems worth trying out, then yea I might buy it. But I do not see myself jumping at the bit to pre-ordering a CE for both Xbox and PC like I did with ME3

No. I play these games for the characters and their stories, relationships and interactions. Since ME3 shows they can't be trusted to deliver a satisfying conclusion to any emotional investment I make, then I won't buy from them.

Even if they fix it, I'd b very reluctant to preorder their next RPG, although I'd certainly be willing to buy it ofthe fan reviews are good.

As I say, IF they fix the endings...

I am boycotting Bioware due to the ending. I'm not purchasing anything they can profit off of. That will continue until the ending is fixed. If it isn't fixed, I don't care if Mass Effect 4 comes out or some awesome new DLC drops or they come up with some hot new game my boycott will still be in place. I refuse to support a company that would release a game with an ending that renders useless everything you do over the course of 5 years of gameplay in a triligy of excellent games with 3 unbelievably crappy endings. If you like the ending I am happy for you and respect that. However, it destroyed any and all single player replayability of all 3 Mass Effect games for me. I didn't think that was even possible.

This poll is skewed . Theres three options for "I will not buy" and no option for "i will buy regardless of the ending" or "i am more likely to buy" though my option is on here, i will not be voting based purely on the fact that this poll employs bad research technique

ITT: Storyfegs.

ME3's ending was pointless, but you all had fun getting there. You got your 60 hours of entertainment and have mildly fun multiplayer too. Mass Effect was never a real RPG anyway.

Mass Effect 3 is the last game I'll be getting for awhile anyway. World of Tanks and Mass Effect 3 multiplayer will be getting my full devotion.

Your Poll is flawed as it is limited to a "happy" ending. I don't expect one. I expect an ending that flows from my decisions over the three games, actually makes sense, and isn't a choice of three colors that is immediately negated by the Mass Relays exploding and wiping out most of the galaxy...

Happy can mean anything, like, the consumer is happy.  Look at it that way.

I'll defend my poll like bioware defends their game. Lol

It already has. Nothing they do at this point will ever get me to trust them again. No-preorders for me.

It's not just the ending not being the promised NON-generic A, B, C endings they specifically said wouldn't happen, it's mailing in Tali's face from a stock model photo, forcing single player RPG players to do multiplayer that EFFECTS their single player game, forcing people to play Gears of WAR and defeat the Reaper with their laser targeting device, with holding main story content(Javik) till release they and then charging $10 for him. Voice actors did all of their lines when they came in, and they all had lines with Javik. They wouldn't pay all the voice actors to come back and deliver 3 lines regarding Javik, they were all done at the same time. Considering he is there longer than almost all other squad members.

What they did is beyond dirty and is unprecedentedly the most backstabbing I have ever seen in any game. It's unbelievable really, but it happened. Was a fan from BG, to KOTOR, to Jade Empire, to ME, to DA... and then things started changing. DA 2 was the first big warning something was wrong at Bioware, ME 3 made it crystal clear.

Bioware was that company I would pre-order from and made sure I bought their games new. Now... I'll never do it again. Over $200 into ME they pull this garbage with ME 3. As I said this kind of betrayal has never been done before.

That being said the game play is still excellent for a 3rd person action game, but I don't buy RPGs for great action gameplay. Gears of War already exists! It's funny how I'm more invested in the Gears of War characters now and appreciate the story that game tells and the ending... that's how bad ME 3 really did.

The ending of one game? Maybe not so much. (DA 2)

The ending of the game that ends a multi year trilogy? (ME 3)

Which also happens to be strike 2, in a manner of speaking.

SWTOR was the biggest fail for me.

Lol this was my favorite part. Poll is still effective at gauging general discontent which most everyone who seems to give a damn felt about the ending. The largest sample size I saw for any poll in regards to the ending had around 60k votes last I checked and only 2% of those voters actually liked the ending.

No, this alone won't stop me.

But this with DA2 and the way they handled that whole thing absolutely will.

Ahhh, can we have a choice for a "ending that makes sense"? I don't mind not getting a "happy" ending but I want the ending to make sense and not have PLOTHOLES EVERYWHERE!

If whatever ending DLC they came up with, IF THEY DID, made sense and gave closure, and was not necessarily a happy ending, I might still end up buying Bioware games and DLC.

Yeah, pretty much that. I don't need kittens and rainbows, although it should probably be an option given how many people do want that, but I must insist on something that makes sense and provides closure. Otherwise, this is it for me and Bioware. TOR account is cancelled.

I hope it doesn't come to that, I want the only name on my "must buy, pre-order immediately" list back, dammit.
