Just a meaningless number. Please give us something to compare it with.
Mass Effect 3 sales have dropped 74% in UK in a week

DA:O lost 47% sales after the first week and DA2 around 66%.
so 74% is really bad.

To those guys I'd like to say, thanks for making a great game.
But BioWare/EA the corporate entity, that is the one that needs to be jarred with loss of income so it takes notice.

plus one. it might seem mean to gloat but this is how you get an ending fixed. we will get our ending. money talks and bioware is definately thinking our feedback is important to them now. i am sadly hoping they see a similar drop in us sales. ea would gather the entire development team throw a bunch of money at drew karpyshaw or however ya spell his name and air drop all of em back to biowares studios in vancouver. i am pretty sure development will be starting on the new ending soon. best news all week.GoblinSapper wrote...

There are a large number of us who never bought ME2, they gave it to us for free a couple weeks after DA2 as an apology for everyone who preorderedBatmanPWNS wrote...
ME2 lost sales soon after as well. No real surprise here either.
I forgot where I was going to go with that, but there's a fun fact for everyone

40-50% for a high profile release is common, but 74%? That's insane.

Of course if they miss sales targets maybe this gives the bean counters and excuse to listen to the folks at BW that might want to give the fans what they want ...

Both also had better legs and had much higher preorder numbers. Skyrim's at over 13 million sales now, with DD.
ME3's around 2.4 or something.

But 74% sound heavy. I would have expected something between 40 and 60%.
I think that at least 2% of that its our work. We can't know yet. Let's wait for this week analysis by vgcharts to see where this is going.

Very true, but that will make it the most successful ME title by far.
