I bet you guys think Modern Warfare 3 bombed as well. It's sales dropped by a similar % after a few weeks.
Man you hold the line people are bitter.
...If I have 10 million in sales and it falls 75%, I have 2.5 million in sales.
If I have 1 million in sales and it falls 75%, I have 250k in sales.
2.5 million is 10 times 250k...
Big difference, bud.

Biowares ending
This hurts you
Saying things like that will only jeopardise any redemption. Why would they want to, should the fans say snide comments like that?
The drop however, is no big suprise. It should only encourage BW to do -something- about it.

Not a realistic comparison. CoD comes out with a rehash EVERY YEAR. How many times do you see EA releasing Mass Effect?

Now if you are reading this in your head make sure to lay the sarcasm on think. All you people who are like "this is proof that we are making a difference" you guys are dumb. This game sold ridiculously well through pre-sales, and after release sales. To be honest the game will probably see another bump in numbers when new copies go on sale.

Well just like a blockbuster movie I would imagine the second week to drop off like that as most people get new games right away right? I could be wrong, dunno
Well, as far as movies go, an opening to second week drop-off of 40% or more is generally accepted as "destined to bomb."
Didn't Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 drop off by 50+ % after its first wekk? And it's the third highest grossing film of all time.

Not a huge deal overall gross of ME2 3.9 mill about 2 million was made opening week the other mill probably a combination of DLC, sales, and game of the year edition releasepjotroos wrote...
I'm not celebrating. I'm not happy that they're missing out on revenue. But if it isn't what they expected, I seriously hope this will make them meet us halfway.
ME3 has grossed 2.4 million in the first week in fact I think ME3 will gross more then ME2 because of the contraversy around the released. This type of contraversy is great from games because people who were going to wait to buy the game will now buy it at full price to see what the fuss is all about. We are providing the game with great publicity.

Keep celebrating guys. I'm sure bad sales will encourage EA to invest more in the game (i.e. free endings patch). Afterall, that's what EA does. Or right it doesn't.
What else can we do? Money is the only language EA speaks. If it is simply complaining with nothing to back it up they can ignore us. Cause they are still getting money.

EA is getting desperate, they need to move units of ME3.
We are winning.

they are not gonna do anything if it doesnt retribute a profit, they will not do this for love
If they fix the ending, more ppl will play -Replay SP and get the Dlcs
So i dont understand why ppl think that some post can hurt bioware feelings, they dont see you like a person, you are a number, a $50 bill talking, its bussiness , grow up

Man, I wish you would be less happy about making a company that provides games I love unprofitable.
You do realise that you basically are happy about no more games like mass effect that you claim to be oh-so-passionate about?
Be careful what you wish for, as it might come true.
Oh well, in worst case I'll just spend more time with RL.
