I Have a question for those who are saying that DA:O made me fire up  BG, BG2 or whatever. How are you playing these games. I played BG 1&2 on a 15" crt. Unfortunately I lagged on FO 1&2 and PST and played them on a 19" crt and they looked terrible. So now with a 22" Samy how is it even possible to fire up my old school games?

Any info would be appreciated.

P.S.: Depends on your PC. And BG2 has the nice option of taking higher (unrecomended) resolutions. 1024x768 was just fine.

There's a widescreen mod at the Gibberlings Three site for all the Infinity Engine titles. Fallout 1&2 also have widescreen mods, as does Arcanum.



Most RPGs with enough of a cult following has one floating around out there. Other than that, there's windowed mode as Ulrik mentioned. Many of these games have that built-in, or make it possible through file editing.

Huh. BG1 and BG2 have window mode if you just hit alt-enter.
