IGN has been demeaning and not understanding through the entire ordeal. They are picking the most radical among us and focusing on that. People have legit concerns and that shouldn't be mocked.
Just like politics, isn't it.
IGN makes one big mistake; they're not taking gamers seriously. Gamers whom they consider to be their audience. Says enough, they don't care about gamers - if they would, they'd take a little more respectful stance or at least take a closer look of what we're about.

Even IGN are now being forced to admit (probably in no small part due to the results of their own poll), that the ending isn't good, or at least is not beyond reproach.
Ultimately this could work against them here, especially if anyone who watches that decides to do a little more research and discovers that the actual portrayal of the movement is an absurd demonisation and that most of its members are quite reasonable.

Then I'll defend it for him. He can like what he wants. I'll stand in opposition of that though, and respectfully disagree. To say I dislike the ending is a major understatement.
Umm, I never said someone liking it is a problem. But when someone comes into a topic or post to contest taht the ending was good ther is NOTHING wrong with disagreeing with it and willing to disagree with statements.
Unless you are arguing that debate and discourse should go like this. "You are wrong" "No YOU are wrong". Unless you are willing to actually talk about the details of the ending, why would you try and ARGUE that the ending is good?
My point is rather that he can have any opinion he likes, and he can argue for it. Your choice is to ignore him, or respond to his arguments. I know I don't like the endings, so explaining why I don't like them to every new poster that comes, is just not worth my time and effort. I much rather spend it on trying to convince BioWare to continue with the game and end it properly.
He was not arguing the story and THAT wasnt what I was pointing out anyways. I was pointing out his statement that the last 5 min of a game, the ending, cant ruin a series, I contested otherwise. I didnt bring up the arguement, he did, so I dont see the problem here.

Really, stop and look in a mirror and ask yourself if this is how someone respectable would act. There is no one in the world that I would hold in any kind of regard that would even consider being a part of this ridiculous campaign. Though, that's probably because I don't have much respect for people in their late teens/early 20's. I have a hard time believing that people over 25 would be on board with this, even if they didn't like the ending.

Theory on IGN, Jessica Chobot??? Whatever her name is... I think all those guys are defending the game because she was in it. Not only was she in it, but in their own little nerd minds they finally got to shack up with her. I mean she must be taking this hard, as it was the first game she was in and it is getting hit hard by people who simply don't like it.
I feel bad, But if you see this Jessica, The fact that your in it does not make it a bad game. We were hoping for Emily Wong because we got to know that character. Your Character seemed kind of thrown in at the last minute and I mean your Alliance. I don't think even when I was in the Military uniforms were ever that revealing. So it was hard to swallow. For your first appearance though, I did say, I think I know her from somewhere. Somewhere on Xbox live, ANYWAYS...
We don't like the game because the endings were not fitting with the franchise. I hope you understand.
I feel bad for Snooki she was fighting an uphill battle from day one, (should have been Emily Wong as the report) maybe she can get a DLC with more action and a chance to get Roney(Vega) in the sack, I know femshep couldn't.

11,088 said nope they didnt like it
1,148 said yes they liked the ending
2,464 said they're not done yet.
so if you do the math and remove the people who are not done yet.
1 out 11 people liked the ending.
just shows how pathetic IGN are to be honest.

Everyone should try and keep civil and carefully argument for the changing/continuation of the endings. If things get heated, the PR people will win. Those who want a change will look like rabid fools, it will spin in media and the whole thing will die out. This is something that will take time, and requires focus. Try to stay on target

What specifically are you talking about? Peole trying to campaign for a new ending? Casue I hate to burst your bubble but this isnt a new idea, by any stretch of the imagination. This has been happening since books have been written, and things have been changed. While I personally am not fighting for a new ending(because I want this failure of a ending to stick with bioware), there is nothing new, wrong, or "immature" about trying to campagn for a new ending. Also, if you think think it is only the "teens and 20's" and even assuming you were right(which you are not), I'll leave you with this:
“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

On the contrary - I have a hard time beliving they be wouldn't be on board as consumers who bought half a product. Cosumers standing up for themselves aren't an age thing.

This only goes to show you haven't really bothered to look into Retake. You probably read one or two rude comments and decided to write the whole movement off.
The only reason why it has gotten so much attention is because the people who are a part of it come from all walks of life, all careers and yes, all ages. You really think anyone would care if it was just ADHD teenagers? They crop up on every release these days and no one ever really listened to them.

What are you talking about? Contesting a persons arguement is "heated and agrivation"? I hate to say it but it sounds like you are the one who is taking this way to seriously. Insinuating someone is a "rabid fool" because they like to debate and can actaully discuss their opinions, is all shades of foolish. If someone thinks debate is a sign of foolishness, I really would be ok with that, honest.
