Ok I was about to erase my link to IGN then I remembered how much I enjoy Matt Fowler's Wrestling Wrap-up articles.  He's hilarious and if you haven't read his review "Work-it" pilot review you're missing out.  Kneelift!

I think they're just upset because Chobot looks freaking awful, and people have pointed it out. Plus, space hooker journalist.

That was good :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

You guys are such easy targets that even IGN can rip you a new one.

Really, stop and look in a mirror and ask yourself if this is how someone respectable would act. There is no one in the world that I would hold in any kind of regard that would even consider being a part of this ridiculous campaign. Though, that's probably because I don't have much respect for people in their late teens/early 20's.

What specifically are you talking about?  Peole trying to campaign for a new ending?  Casue I hate to burst your bubble but this isnt a new idea, by any stretch of the imagination.  This has been happening since books have been written, and things have been changed.  While I personally am not fighting for a new ending(because I want this failure of a ending to stick with bioware), there is nothing new, wrong, or "immature" about trying to campagn for a new ending.  Also, if you think think it is only the "teens and 20's" and even assuming you were right(which you are not), I'll leave you with this:

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”
― C.S. Lewis

God I love the retakemasseffect people. LOL.

We're awesome.

I would care what IGN thinks but first they would need to be intelligent enough to justify spending time understanding their opinions. The more of this story is that I do not now, nor have i ever cared what IGN's opinion on anything was.

What are you talking about?  Contesting a persons arguement is "heated and agrivation"?  I hate to say it but it sounds like you are the one who is taking this way to seriously.  Insinuating someone is a "rabid fool" because they like to debate and can actaully discuss their opinions, is all shades of foolish.  If someone thinks debate is a sign of foolishness, I really would be ok with that, honest.

*sigh* Given the form of your above reply, I will end this discussion with you. I'll gladly discuss other topics, just not this one.

Who even goes to IGN.com anymore? I mean, Really? Their reviews suck.

I prefer to get my gaming news from sites that aren't Corporate sellouts.

Not going to deny found the video game bit and the 'i'm taking back the game' pretty hilarious in its own right were it not for the fact that they clearly either saw an ending we didn't (maybe the real ending haha). Or are they that blind to realise, even taking out the issue of player choice affecting the ending, plonking a huge unexplained plot device is just plain bad. Also why did they take out the bit were you question it about how long its been reaping etc, maybe more context and the decisions and endings may have made more sense *maybe, unlikely but maybe). Also why did they cut out the last bit of dialog with Anderson. Anyway plonking a new unexplained super deus ex machina and making the Commander go with it was just plain...well bad.

I've ceased all activity in accordance with IGN and any other website that fowl mouths and makes fun of their userbase. I found some sites that are much better, even one's that may disagree with us, they still have respect for us.

spill.com
giantbomb.com
gamefront.com
gameinformer.com
forbes.com

Let me know if you guys know anymore, because I need more podcasts to listen to to get me through the day-day. %90 of the podcasts I listened to had their hands somewhere in IGN or their employees.

completely forgot about the complete conflict of interest there. Plain pointless character, what was wrong with the original reporter, don't need one on your ship either.

You could use some perspective. Maybe a different plan of attack. Nobody needs your respect. Your disrespect is the nerf dart of insults. Spitwadding would have been a more effective assault.

They are giving Bioware a hand in dividing us, making us all seem like we are nuts or a small group with loud voices.
Ignore them, stay strong and hold the line.

They do have a point that vulgar language and general "****ery" is not the way to invoke change. They also have a point that it is indeed BioWare's story to do with how they please. What they had an epic fail with is recognizing that BioWare is a for profit company and disappointing their fans like they did is bad for business. IGN does show that they had no vested interest in the story themselves and how their credibility is suspect. I won't be going to IGN anything as it is would be a waste of time trying to get an honest read on anything. It would be like going to Rush Limbaugh for an honest read on politics. <----I almost could type that with a straight face...almost.

Its their right to end it however they want. It´s our right to call them out on false promises. After all this is over at least everyone has learned a lesson. Take from that what you want.

The only good points were the fact that people who go on facebook and twitter and attack BioWare employees are wrong for doing so. Sadly, IGN after that chooses to attack everyone who's protesting the ending, even those of us who've remained civil since this thing started.

I think you need to be aware that as of this moment PR people are in these forums. Make no mistake. They will see whom are most vocal and easily aggrevated and attack those. This post will most likely soon get a response along the lines of 'tinfoil hat'. But the points made by atghunter, will help explain why.

Ignoring them is worse then actually debating them, by a long shot.  Shooting down there idea's does more to show everyone they are wrong, then what you are suggesting.  Nothing good comes out of letting them "get away with it" if what you say is true.
