I thought "Lolno", used the destroy ending then came onto BSN and took my place in the line.
Gut reactions when presented with the R/G/B choice?

There was a meme showing the five stages of grief for mass effect 3. Wish I could find it and post it.

I just sat there, dumbfounded. Then, I let my semi-busted controller drift Shep into the synthesis beam. Didn't seem to make a damn difference at the time.

Personally, I realized that the ending was as bad as the headlines implied. I then turned around and tried to shoot star kid in the face.
I did too, and a friend of mine did the same thing.

I still want the option to call for pickup and nuke the entire Citadel, without their annoying brat, the Reapers will end up confused and will be much easier to deal with =)

I was like:
"Ok, this is a bit off... Why can't I question this little ****?... Is this a dream sequence or something?"

I was just really, really confused. After the conversation with the god-reaper-AI-space-kid I had in my confusion already forgotten where I had to go to choose which option. I just randomly chose one way.

I just shook my head, turned off my 360 and went to bed. I couldn't believe that Bioware could f*** up an ending that badly.

I was stunned, couldn't believe I had to choose between the three, and I was especially stunned I couldn't question starchild further.
In the end, I decided to destroy the reapers, despite it looking renegade and ending the geth. Shepard's mission was to stop the reapers no matter what the cost, anything but destroying the reapers seemed like a disappointment. One of the central premises of the game was organic life and its importance, despite it being chaotic. Synthesizing felt like a betrayal to organics, and it was not certain that the new DNA would've been any better for organics.
I thought I made the wrong choice when I saw Joker's ship trying to outfly the crucible explosion, but it turned out it happened in every ending.

I finished my play through at 3 in the morning. I had been playing for 40 hours in a 48 hour period. In my sleep deprived state after realizing that there was no real option, I wandered over to the destroy option, because if I have only those choices I'm going to do what I've been trying to do for over 90 hours of game play, blow the ****ers up. After watching the "ending" I wanted to throw the controller. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs, but I was just too damn tired, both physically and emotionally. I just went over to my couch and collapsed.

The first thing I thought when I saw the 3 choices was "this is exactly the same as the ending of (spoilers)...
"Human Revolution" in the sense that your essentially given a few buttons to press (not syaing what about). It was a bad feeling because I knew how different Deus Ex and the Mass Effect universes are. It felt really out of place. I think the most striking thing is that HR is actually a prequel so any choice you make is really irrelevant, it rather states you character's world view. It was strange to find such a similar ending in the finale of a trilogy.

I was staring at my screen for a little while as a bunch of questions regarding the kid's logic began to creep into my head. Then I decided that I would destroy the Reapers since that's been Shepard's goal ever since the first game and I refused to back down at the last minute.
Once I saw the Mass Relays blowing up I started realizing how bad this was going. After I saw the Normandy get wrecked and stranded I went into shock for about 15 minutes. I went back to the dashboard (I own an Xbox) in the middle to prevent an auto-save and chose the other endings.
Now I'm here. Holding the line ):

Oh, alright. This seems fun. Maybe something wildly different will happen when I choose different paths.

Well, that was unsatisfying, let's reload and pick a better one!
*Chooses Green and watches the ending*
Hey! Wait a minute!
*Goes on google and youtube to see if he missed something and what endings there are*

First time i finished i picked synthesis. I didnt bother too much with thinking about the kid, I assumed details will be explained later. (dum biatch me) I was like, yeah what's the worst that could happen? let's all live united, we will get pimped up with synthetics, machines might get pimped up with sense of humor. My bf was watching me play in last minutes (as he had finished the game an hour before me or so). So I'm diving like a boss into the green light. My bf frown, saying ,dud i got the same endings but with different light. We watched it to the end, he was rather disheartened saying 'it was pretty much the same for me'/ So Load game here we come, from the beam moment, limping through that section of the game again.. needless to say we only saw variations in colours. Was like WTF for real? after staring at credits blankly, I suddenly realized - hey what about the kid? da fuq is this? Who created them? why was joker running wasnt he on earth? They crashed? hell, they couldnt have been that far away so where are they, bloody amazonia? OH NO THEY DIDNT.... now don't get me wrong - i didn't even mind getting minced for parts in the green light, but hell, after playing all MEs i expected more explanations in regards to what the f actually happened there..
It has to be indoctrination, i mean things dont make sense otherwise.
It's one thing to make an open ending which leaves the area for speculation, and quite another thing to make something that makes you ask questions 'how would that be possible? codex/gameplay of previous games/dlcs stated otherwise'.
I had some other problems with the game overall which I wont name here because they are all fairly forgivable compared to the ending. I love ME series i do. But I honestly wanted my money back or at least part of it. If they dont deliver what they promise, why should i pay full price?
ugh.

I was so stunned by what had happened that I forgot which side was which. I wanted the destroy ending, but because I couldn't remember left from right, I chose synergy instead.

Seems to be quite common. I did this after I looked all the way behind me in hopes that there was a 4th option.
