I finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution a few days before I started replaying ME1 & ME2 so I could import a save (new computer) so when I got to the final "choice" I thought "This feels familiar". After that, I tried to shoot the brat in the face.
Actually seeing the endings have somewhat ruined all three games for me because I know that, no matter what choices I make, or how successful I am, I'm going to be forced into an ending that feels like I've failed.

At first I was frozen, then I started crying at how unfair the choices were, then I turned into a big ball of hate and chose the destroy option to spite everything.
Then I stopped crying, because I was too confused at what happened after my choice.
Then I felt sick.
After that I signed into the forums because I was dead sure that I was being trolled.

I shot the Starchild. Didn't even think about it.
Then nothing happened, so I picked an ending.

When I first reached that point, I tried interrogating the kid for more information, but no such option. Shot him, but there was no reaction. At this point I was disappointed that the ending came down to choice A, B, and C. I wasn't really sure which direction was the destroy the reapers option as I wasn't paying enough attention the first time, I just knew which one was the synthesis option (which is the worst decision of the three), so I took a left thinking that was the destroy option, but it turned out that was to control the reapers.
After the ending went through, I was so shocked/disappointed/depressed that I skipped the credits, replayed the entire ending sequence, then chose the correct option to destroy the reapers... and then I realized that it was the exact same ending... just with a little teaser at the end that makes no sense (unless you believe in the indoctrination theory).
Not wanting to play it through a third time, I looked up the synthesis ending on youtube, and yeah... it was the same ending once again.
I still haven't watched the credits yet, which is a first for me. I ALWAYS watch the credits of a game or movie I play. I'm waiting for the ending to be fixed before I do that with this one, though.

I said, out loud "Did they just pull a new overall villain out of the're cosmic arse in the last few minutes of the game?."
Then hit Alt+F4.

I thought I screw up something, either in ME1 and ME2 or ME3 and got some of the worse ending from those 16 I was promised. Didnt make sense to me. Than I visited BSN...

I was so flabbergasted that I honestly didn't even realize the two options on the side were colored red and blue for paragon and renegade, and that the characters in them were opposite of what they should be. I was just shocked at the idiocy of the last 3-5 minutes. So I chose the Green ending, thinking that's what the game/developers were pushing as the 'correct' ending. *
Later I got my ems up past 5,000 and chose to destroy.
* I had avoided all spoilers about the endings, just knew people were annoyed with it. So I really had no way to know that space-kid AI was coming, lol.

Uh...Paragon! Yeah! That's always worked for me before, right??? And they really wouldn't do THAT, would they??? My Shep will get saved, right????
Uh, no.
Quick. Hit the Xbox button. Try again!!! Uh... Green path. No, wait! Oh, no!!! I can't go back up the green path!!! I'm sucked in!!!
[Watches cutscenes. Mouth open. Credits roll. Stargazer. DLC ad.]
Oh, no. You've GOT to be kidding me.
Reload. drag my Shep down the path again. TIM, Anderson, blah, blah blah. Red path. Bye, EDI. Bye, Geth. Sorry about that whole Legion sacrifice thing.
[Watches cutscenes. Same ending as green path, except Reapers fall over. Watches N7 chestplate take a breath. Credits roll. OMG. IT WAS THE SAME ENDING.]
[Spends three days on Bioware forum venting. Donates to "Retake ME." Googles every 1/2 hour hoping for update. Dispairs. Gets home from work, takes CE of ME3 and puts it far back on shelves. Texts all friends not to buy ME3. Resolves to join the Bad Ending resistance movement.}
There. Like that.

Personally, I realized that the ending was as bad as the headlines implied. I then turned around and tried to shoot star kid in the face.
Give the player a weapon with unlimited ammunition and what else are you supposed to do?
I'd managed to avoid spoilers for the ending all the way though. I'd heard it was meant to be bad but wow... Tried to start a New Game + and then couldn't help but laugh that the first bit of dialogue you hear is Anderson asking "How bad is it?"
The ending? Atrocious. The rest of it? Brilliant.

I just sorta pressed W without thinking and ended up diving into fire, pretty sure I was in some sort of emotional shock, didn't really snap out of it unit about 30 minutes later, turned off the game, and just sat there looking at the screen for a good while, just wishing that hadn't happened.

Me?
Fury.
Fury on a level I have never experienced in a game ever before.
An entire fantasy world I would even DREAM about, all of it destroyed!

Funny. I did likewise. I tried to kill the starchild out of desperation for 3 solid minutes, plunking away at anything I thought might actually control him, INCLUDING his form.

I ALREADY had massive head-shaped craters in my desk from SWTOR. The ME3 endings caused the biggest one yet, and a minor concussion also.

This was the first time I didn't want to make a choice and was tempted to go to YouTube to look at endings. I've never been so ticked at the choices I was given, and being told either way Shepard was screwed.
Then I got pissed my squad was left in limbo after spending 30 minutes agonizing about what to do. Something seemed wrong about all the decisions, like no matter what I wasn't necessarily doing a good thing
