Would a new ending actually make anyone feel better?

Sigh... and that is exactly why I made up my own ending. I am sorry if I come too strong. But the fact that your so eager to throw money away will lead Bioware, IF they even make a new ending. To make it fruity, unappealing and simply as a way to appease you. And like Dlc's before, you'll buy it regardless.
Hence why I imagined my own. Too many like us grasping at straws, but we are a minority, the majority is like you eager to pay for w/e closure you can get. I know you said "BETTER" in caps. But fact remains your eager to throw the cash away. And that makes a good ending, with real closure, as a consequence of all of your actions as well as with a hint of bitter sweet taste as it should be... highly unlikely.

Several wildly different endings that reflect the choices of all 8 of my different Shepards, alongside the current ending makes me happy.

I'm pretty sure Bioware at this point knows that if they slap together something like that, these forums will explode and they'll loose a huge amount of their fanbase.Spartas Husky wrote...

The very fact that Bioware took it to heart how much the ending did not satisfy and took the time and effort to try to make it right would mean a lot and tell me a lot about what kind of company Bioware is (or is not). That, and because I think their writers are a generally talented bunch of people, I have faith in their ability to do the ending justice, given another chance at it.

However, should they implement the "Indoctrination theory" or somesuch I'd certainly be bummed. The endings weren't exactly literature Nobel-level stuff but applying a variation of the "then she woke up" plot twist would be a good deal worse.

If it is a payed DLC, I am probably going to wait a day or so, then find out from people who bought it if it was worth it or not, then based on the feedback decide if i should by it or not

Like I said, we are a minority who wont blindly throw cash at whatever closure they'll throw at us.
A single individual is smart.
A dozen can do wonders.
A hundred is an unorganized mob
A thousand has no more cognitive capacity than a bacteria.
A......
you get the idea. On the sci-fi level if you wish. We aren't exactly smart as our numbers increase. I know it, they know, everyone knows it. Denying it, is a choice, doesn't mean is not true.
hence why I dont hold my breath. SPECIALLY and I do put it in caps, with EA greedy azz fingers all over this.
Crytek and Bioware where the only two studios I held in high regard EVEN while being associated with those pigs at EA. Now is just one.

They can even keep the starchild in if I get to tell him his choices are bollocks and use my paragon persuasion skills to talk him into a new solution that doesn't involve destroying galactic civilisation.

Yes. It worked for Fallout 3 so it will work for this.
And this is exactly what I was talking about. Fallout 3 DLC content was already planned from before it came out. hell a lot of it was inside the cd already...
again... hence why I dont hold my breath.
We are a handful of people screaming " give us closure in an intelligent manner" in a crowd screaming "take my money just give us anything".
