Yes.

Although I'd be disappointed if it was paid, I'd still buy it.

I'd settle for anything that made sense.

I think one cutscene could make it a lot better. When Shepard enters the Conduit someone should tell Hackett that Shepard made it through. Then there is no longer need for infantry units near the Conduit and Hackett can order the Normandy to pick up any survivors and retreat until further notice.

If it's a proper ending + epilogue with multiple choices based on our past decisions in the game? Yes. Yes it would. I would make me very happy.

A valid question from the OP.

I do think a new ending or extra stuff for the current ending would make a difference. Personally I stopped playing ME3 in order to get some distance between me and the horrid ending. So I started a new me1 character and by now, I'm just after Horizon in me2, and I can safely say that even though the ending lingers, it does not detract from my experience i me1 and me2, so I do believe it would make a difference

If it's not equally bad, yes.

If the DLC was really high quality and matched BW's pre-launch statements then it would help. It's not the same as having it for the first playthrough but it would still help. Honestly an alternate ending DLC SHOULD HAVE BEEN the day 1 DLC instead of Javick.

YMMV.

Before this gets closed let me say something beyond "yes"... or "definitely yes" lol. Not to diminish those answers.

A-What was C-sec security for? aren't they comprised of 300k troops?. we didn't wait much to get to the citadel, the fact no fighting was taking place inside it was a complete waste of an opportunity. Where is C-sec?. Where are all the wounded? Where is the militia I authorized?.

I have to be honest, I was so hyped going up to the beam, I was expecting to rendevou with resistance inside of it. Bailey, Garru's friends, Specter salarian dude, anyone.

B-Cutscenes missed.
The Krogan? where are they? where are they overwhelming reaper troops?
WHere are the Rachni? If we killed the rachni queen on Noveria, and saved her in ME3. Dont we get a war asset update saying that some group got swarmed by rachni in their barracks?

The rachni had weeks to build. And those big mamas can pop colonies in days? Where are the rachni warriors from ME1 cutting and slinging husks and cannibal alike while going toe to toe with a banshee? Where is the swarm on the horizon eating a husk while simultaniously turning him into poop? self replicating machines are banned in citadel conventions... well the rachni are the biological part that comes real close to a swarm of little buggers eating everything.

-The geth?
What happended to my Geth primes? I am to suppose only a small msg in the Shadow Broker's Terminal saying "primes helped some soldier from unknown race"?
Where are the Geth pyros turning the brutes into a buffet for krogan and turian alike?... kind a cannibalistic but you get the pun.
Where are the Geth primes storming and taking on Brutes on even ground? Where are the swarm of Scouting drones the geth use taking the brunt of the impact as expendable hardware. As the Geth codex indicate they are used in.

C- The rest we already know. I am going to mention a few and then stop. No Hardbinger arrogant speech, no blasting hardbinger a new inky hole, no c-sec resistance, no space battle (hell me1 had 2 scenes, ME2 had 4!) common math would imply 6 in ME3? lol.

The DLC that would take place to allow all the "misses" is so massive, it wont be anything short of 1600... and of course I wont pay for that hell no.

Conclusion:
Many say it is the journy that matters, many are materialistic and imply the end justifies the means. but like the Illusive Man said, the world is grey-er than we think.

It is not just the trip up the mountain that makes up strong, it is not just the sacrifices as much as the realization of what new found knowledge we've acquired.

But our trip up the mountain (using martial arts stuff for the hell of it) was a series of emotionally progressive games and bonds made through years, only to realize our entire trip was simply get a middle finger from the guy living on top saying "april fool's day".

I have to admit seeing another ending would make me much happier. Shepard getting screwed six ways to Sunday made me lose a little faith in the game. even after the happy dance inferno grenade in multiplayer made me do.

no thanks.. you actually WANT to pay an extra $10 for the ending that should have been in the game in the first place?? seriously??

My proposal for a better ending that would make everyone feel better:  (that fell away in a locked thread)

Epic Rap Battles In Mass Effect History.

REAPER GOD CHILD
VS.
SHEPARD

BEGIN!

REAPER GOD CHILD:

Red then blue then green / That is all you get!
Should've saved that child / when you first met!
You’re a sad little man / who has done all that you can!
Give me five minutes and I'll kill your biggest fan!
Let me remind you who you’re messing with!
You stupid little creep.
You have your bad dancing, I've got boys who Reap!

SHEPARD:
I'm Commander Shepard! / I'm gonna give you hell!
With my favorite rap: / On the cit-a-del!
You are nothing but a dream, / perhaps an obfuscasion!
You say you have some fans? Must be indoctrination!
I've got Krogans and Geth coming down the line.
Anyone can see my battle fleet is oh so very fine.
Cause now look at you / You’ll just never see!
Till I kick your little ass! / With the Normandy!

REAPER GOD CHILD:

You think you can win? Oh how very droll
Let's see how you get out of this plot hole!
And let me tell you now, the Normandy will crash
The dextros will starve and I'll tap Ashley's ass.

SHEPARD:

Go to Hell God-Child! / Haven't heard that before?
It's the last thing you'll hear when I pick option four!
I reject your premise / I reject this illusion.
I'm Commander Shepard / I reject your delusion
I can see you running now, a coward you elect to be.
When me and the forum boys go Retake ME3.

A well done new ending that allows for us to actually have a variety of ends (ranging from depressing to happily-ever-after) would most certainly make me feel better. I'd even buy DLC from them again.
