:devil:EFFICIENCY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME (for some of us):wizard:

Video Proof the Guide Works

Efficiency: This is what it's all about for those of us dedicated to farming to get what we want, whether it be credits, new character unlocks, upgraded weapons, equipment stockpiles, or that sense of victory from finally beating a faction under a certain amount of time.

This guide
: is for the people who may be interested in the same things I am interested in (the things listed above).  If this is not you, this guide can still be helpful, but this guide is geared towards people who value that bolded underlined word above.  I personally guarantee that this guide will help improve your times, thus leading to easy power leveling, easy credit farming, and easy unlocks for everything.

Farm Reapers: Due to spammability of biotics and the low skill required, combined with reapers inherent vulnerability and tendency to clump together, Reapers are the faction of choice to farm right now, with Geth a close second.  As such, I will only cover reaper farming right now, unless someone can prove that Geth are easier, or if some balancing happens.

ASSUMPTIONS
OF THIS GUIDE:

- This strategy requires 4 people on the same page, in voice chat with mics (or exceptionally good at listening and playing in a fashion that doesn't require verbal communication if you don't have a mic).
- You are willing to play a class/spec that benefits the group's total clearing time and not your personal score.
- You can leave your ego at the door.
- You are willing, nay, EXCITED to use consumables/equipment to make your clears go faster.
- You understand that using the best weapons with the best recharge balance is optimal
- You enjoy playing with terrible weapons because they are cool and don't care what anyone else says because you are bad and do whateva you want like Cartman

EFFICIENCY STRATEGY AND TACTICS:
  • class Composition should be optimal for the faction you are playing.
  • You should control enemy spawns through your team's positioning (think of each map as four squares, or four squares with a circle in the middle, this roughly explains the spawn positioning of enemies)
  • Your team should stick together as needed, and you should all have clearly understood roles in relation to your position, your contribution to rapidly killing (are you setting up biotic combos, are you detonating, are you the objective capper, etc)
  • You should use the best equipment/consumables that will benefit your team the most (example: if you are using a falcon, use cryo ammo generally)
  • Put away your assumptions about missiles.  USE ALL OF YOUR MISSILES EACH GAME.  Use them intelligently.  Without writing 5 pages on how bad it is to not use missiles each game, intelligent use of missiles will shave valuable time off of your total time; thus allowing you to farm more credits more efficiently.  It's WORSE to take 25:00 without using missiles than it is to clear in 18:00 - 22:00 because you used missiles.
  • It is not always worth ressing someone, in fact, it's frequently counter-productive to your overall time.  I can think of numerous examples: Person 1 has 9 med-gels.  You spend time ressing them.  You are wasting time.  Person 2 dies with 1 or a few  remaining enemies left.  Assuming you aren't terrible, you can more easily clear the enemies than you can take time ressing this person.  Person 3 dies in the middle of 50 enemies.  If you aren't willing to missile, then just keep doing what you are doing, let them med-gel or let them die.  It's not worth it probably.
REAPER class COMPOSITIONS:

  • Comp One1-2 Asari Adept, 1-2 Drell AdeptsAlternates include: Human sentinels, human adepts, human engineers.  Everyone should have as close to 200% recharge time as possible.  Spam biotic combos all day.  Win.  The End.  Asari - warp/throw/statis maxed, 3 in fitness, 5 in Asari Justicar.  Drell 6 0 6 6 6.  Spam Reave.
  • Comp Two 1 Asari Adept, 1 Drell Adept, 1 Human Vanguard, 1 Salarian Infiltrator. Alternates include: Drell Vanguard with pull for detonating. Human vanguard acts a stunner/detonator/tank, can rapidly kill capture far objectives.  Infiltrator should be 6 0 6 6 6 (high damage, high survivability).  Assassinate important enemies, cap objectives, serves as team medic.
  • Comp Three 1-2 Asari, 1-2 Drell, 1-2 Human Soldier.  Same as Comp One.  Only variation is that human soldier 6 0 6 6 6 (no pts in concussive shot, will not debate) uses a falcon with full equipments.  This soldier just plays a position near a choke, and destroys everything with rapid-fire falconing/frag grenades. This soldier should be the host, and the second soldier if there is one, should be a person with an extremely low ping and a good connection to the host.  Do not be surprised if soldiers are the high score by 30-50000 points.  The jobs of the adepts are to continue biotic spamming, but with an even higher focus on the elites.
  • Comp Four 2-3 Human Soldiers, 1 Biotic Self-Detonator (Asari etc).  Alternates Include: Human Vanguard to detonate (using a falcon),  Same theory as above.  The Asari has the job of killing the elite mobs while soldiers chain spam.  May be less efficient due to lack of grenades for the entire team, but easily solved by spamming ammo boxes at important times
MAP CHOICES:
  • Firebase White: 2-3 People upstairs at the triple intersection by the ammo box above the ladder, 1-2 people downstairs facing the double intersection (refer to my positioning in my quickscope video if this isn't clear), stuck to the wall, with the inside building to your right, and the outside ammo box straight in front of you over the wall.
  • Firebase Glacier: Generally the giant room with the glass windows to your right (the extraction room will be on your right) is a terrible place to be.  The most efficient that I've found is the very back room with an ammo box down the ramps is good for having two choke points.  If you keep one person on the right behind the desk, 1-2 people on the left behind the desk facing the double intersection, and one person in the very middle tiny room with the glass as a floater, it can lead to very effective, very rapid clears.
  • Firebase Giant: The extraction zone with the ammo box, the ruins to your left, and the giant horrible middle section to your right.  Just position everyone here for every wave that you can.  Use your choke points do destroy everyone with aoe damage (biotics or falcons or both), and go hunting when you can safely do so, or need to do so due to time.
CLOSING:

Farm:  Farm now before the last few hours run out on your equipment pack purchase at the store.  Buy as many missiles as you can.  Then begin farming super hard-core until biotic explosions are nerfed and or the falcon.
Team Comps: There are other combos that work, but these are the combos that have been most successful for myself or my team, or that I believe based on my experience will be the most successful.
If you have a better one, post it, or if you have a variation just list it and explain why.

<3GOOD LUCK.  EASY MODE INCOMING!

Farming Geth Gold
Team: 1 salarian engineer, at least 1 infiltrator, 2 other random guys.
Strategy:
1. SE summons Decoy and respawns it if necessary,
2. Whole team first takes down rocket troopers, then all other targets.
3. Keep an eye around for sneaking enemies.
4. WIN!
:D

There are already strategies out there for Geth farming, but this strategy works beautifully, as does the 4 infiltrator strategy.

You wanted proof that geth are easier, there it is.

Pardon me, but what "proof" are you talking about?

Proof would be a screenshot of a gold game shorter than 17min.

Well, I have yet to see any screenshot of a gold game in your guide.

Maybe because he's a different person and didn't write this?  Enough random e-peen waving.  There are videos/pics of us together doing rapid clears elsewhere.

This guide is about improving clearing times and efficient farming/leveling.  Use it or not, but plenty of others may benefit from it.

This doesn't seem to be a power leveling guide. Is there more to come?

im actually clearing geth gold firebase white in 20-22 minutes without rockets. 1se 1aa on each chokepoint perma stagger through energy drain and massive damage to bio explosions. se cap with decoy. kill target or large groups get rocketed if need be. so this is using like 2-4 rockets as the whole team per round,

Rotate level 1s in and out of the team on gold to power characters and or N7 rating.

If people are playing on bronze this strategy will work if all characters are lower level with worse guns.

The power-leveling is implicit in the guide due to the fast clearing times.

And if everyone expends their missiles intelligently it will go even faster.  It's better to clear faster than to save 1-2 rockets per game at the cost of significant time.

Decoy farming on Geth is easier, but definitely slower, and the point here is efficiency of time.

That's the point - no guides, no pics, only demands.

There may be 'easier' factions in terms of % chance of dying before the end of wave 10 (not 11, but 10), but as you said, this thread is about what's fastest.

I actually think in terms of ease Cerberus is the easiest, with Geth second and Reapers last.

The good thing is that I listed alternate classes, because I agree with what you are saying actually.

You can exchance human sentinels for Asari Adepts/Drell Adepts and run 4 human sentinels spamming warp/throw, Human Infiltrators for Salarian Infiltrators.

There isn't a replacement for the falcon, but biotic explosion spam accomplishes similar results.

This can be done with someone who just bought the game today.

The more you farm the higher your chances to unlock these other classes/weapons, and once you do, it'll just increase your efficiency even more.

Can we all please stop the silly fighting for no reason?  People have done around 18 or below clears of both factions.

For optimal time, die on purpose after you've completed wave 10 objective (i.e. you do not have to actually kill all the enemies in wave 10, just finish the objective). You still get all the credits and XP is irrelevant when you are level 20.

Good guide, OP! :wizard:

Yeah I omitted that, good correction.  The paltry xp gain is not worth the 2 mins for the extraction and the time between waves clearing the end of wave 10, pausing for wave 11 to start.

^ If you only want credits quit after wave 10 objectives are complete and you are award credit bonus.

Good guide, quite accurate. In your second team composition I would add in the words: "alternates include" before the same classes, because its worded a bit confusingly now.

This is child's play. Yet, on nearly every Silver Reaper games I play, people will camp the same location most of the time.

People don't want to move unless they have to, and this is a far bigger problem than how their limited thinking sees it.

K I'm sorry sir, but there is a fly in that lotion.
Geth Hunters.

Gold, from like wave 5 up there can be up to 6 at a time spawned and running around the map, effectively demolishing any team
