Bring along one Asari Adept simply for Primes and detonating tech bursts; throw the unshielded targets, warp the shielded/armored targets to set off the bursts. When a Prime shows up, it would be their job to Warp/Throw their own explosions while the rest of the team switches to non-Overload tech damage (Incinerate on Human Engineers, Warp if you have a Turian Sentinel -- which I would recommend; the T.Sentinel takes off his armor and spams Warp while the Asari simply spams Throw; the timing will be just a little bit off, but the DPS will increase significantly).
If one brings along a Q.Infiltrator, I'd recommend they evolve Sabotage to 100% increase tech damage, and evolves the Cloak for Duration and rolls with a shotgun to be the anti-hunter of the group when they're not fetching objectives.

Reactor is an easy farm too if you stick near the start area, having two people cover the reactor and the other two cover the right ramp.
I actually prefer the right section of the map, with the back set of pipes, the ramp lead downstairs, the cover on the backside of the reactor, with all four on that side (the ammo box at the extraction zone doesn't work correctly)

The Geth variant of this strategy (and you might want to try this, UK, I have neither the good enough friends nor the time/gear to playtest this) would be to exchange the Biotic Explosions for Tech Bursts. Geth don't clump up as much, but especially in regards to their spawns, they like to gather close enough for chain overloads to always have all three zaps hit, setting up three targets for tech bursts.

I've tried variants of that strategy, currently have an 18:00 clear against Geth, but will focus more on Geth after something changes to alter the ease of reaper farming. Thanks for the post and the explanation, may help a lot of people farming Geth.

It doesn't due to the abnormally long cooldown, but there is another ammo box by the ladder near the reactor entrance. If you are split into two team coverage, ammo won't be a problem.

I've been ignoring your soldier/falcon praise for a while now, finally tried it out and it wrecks on silver. Not sure if I wanna try it on gold without a good team though, seems easier to carry randoms with salarian engineer/infiltrator or asari adept allthough the soldier seems to do some pretty heavy dps against the non armored enemies.
It still works on gold. If you want to have fun, play a level 1 soldier on gold against Cerberus.

The problem with that positoning is that you have more angles you can be shot from simultaneously, and can easily become trapped.

The spot up the ladder by the reactor has it's pluses and minuses. You can see everything and everyone can take potshots at you, but cover is your best friend. There's only one other way the enemy can approach you and that area is wide open. From your position you can essentially fire off biotics at Atlases that have just spawned, before they even enter the reactor.

However, why don't you mention committing suicide after the end of wave 10 objective? If your sole goal is farming, it shaves 3+ minutes off of your time.

I would love to add something regarding the fun factor. Play Reapers for faster clears and for an intense 20 minutes. Play Geth and take turns going afk because the difficulty is a joke at this point. Last night we did a run where I went afk from wave 1-3, helped on 3, and then finished my sandwich by wave 5 to help on wave 6. lol Geth

Nice guide, but I wonder if playing and farming too efficiently won't take the charm out of the game for some. Certainty is often a little more boring than likeliness. I like playing Gold with varying weapons and classes (of course, I tend to get clear times in the 24-26, but that's irrelevant when I'm having fun).

It's mentioned in the comments afterwards. I assumed some people needed the XP for completion since this is a guide for credits/xp/n7 rating, but if you don't need xp or value credits more than xp obviously die after wave 10.

Great guide Wildcat. I both love to see these guides and loathe it at the same time. It's good to bring people up to speed with things of course, but alerting Bioware to the brutality of Biotic explosions and the Falcon make me nervous.

Balance is great for multiplayer videogames. It ensures long-term viability in my opinion. It's also particularly important if any other game objectives are ever added.

Turian Sentinel with a high level falcon should be considered for one of the best. Has to be respeced out of TA, but overload is always useful, plus you can hang out with the drell for quick banshee kills. May do less falcon damage compared to soldier, but better for the team overall.

Glad to see people understand that Reapers are actually the easiest enemy faction (with the right team)

I'm not sure this is true, but I'm open to testing it and open to proof.

Great post, Wildcat! I had already arrived at similar conclusions when constructing my own tactics and used essentially the exact same strategies to get <20 minute clear times against all factions with my friends, and I can vouch that they work beautifully. My personal favorite is the Vanguard strategy.
Good job, glad to see that I'm not crazy (at least not by myself).
Also, original post is now uploaded with link to a reaper farming video.

I dont see how your 3 soldier team can compete for time with the biotic explosion team now that the falcon is nerfed. Can you elaborate?
Don't think they can now, but will still have to test with upgraded black widows down the road, won't be for a while obviously.

Also why go cluster grenade over pull? Is pull just not a useful ability?
