If the endings are fixed, changed or expanded on to make sense: Yes.

Funny, I was thinking about this exact same thing last night. Would totally pay for it.

I'd be interested... but it would depend on the content, length, and how it fit in with the main game... 'cause the old chestnut of anything pre/post-ending right now is rendered pointless.

I would certainly consider getting a LI/squaddie-themed DLC.

I made some suggestions to improve LIs in ME3 in the hopes that they'd actually be able to incorporate some of it into Extended Cut (they're very resource-friendly additions).

I would be interested too, but realisticly, considering the avaliable content that has a higher chance of producting a profit (ie Aria's Omega retake and other such major story plot points), *and* the fact that they're moving all of their projects back a few months for the extended cut DLC, we probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than seeing romance DLC.

I think the only cost effective solution here would to throw in some romance oriented banter lines to fill in on the normandy between missions. Which is halarious because they're already weak and short to begin with when it's been said the reason for the squad member reduction was to directly increase the amount of banter..
(or fill in the lines period.. tyvm ME3 for ruining the seemeless feel for the last 3 games by foregoing voiceover for half the content on certian LIs..)
*maybe* some distinctive dialog wheel options during certian missions or the like.
Or even expand on the VS Li's that spaned the entire trilogiy, Ive played the VS LI with a non-imported shep and an imported VS LI ME1/faithful ME2 shep, it comes down to ~ 3-4 different lines, and 'trust' during the citadel coup(so you don't have to rep persuade) which was dissapointing to say the least.

Specific missions for LI's though? Shepard can LI praticly the entire crew, that's a lot of content, a lot of voice over acting, or some REALLY short missions.

The other fact is; this thread hasen't exploded to 100 pages in 4 hours, and that says a lot about it's chances.

If they fixed the ending so I know I have a chance of a happy ending with my LI then yes, I would definitely buy any romance DLC. Otherwise, it would just be pointless.

It would be a problem of coverage of LI vs quality/length of quests. Maybe the solution would be to have a couple of quests that could be done with LI or with friends, so everyone could enjoy them.

For example, say Sheperd has to go to a ball for diplomatic reasons and has to take someone with him/her. If they have a LI they can choose to take them, and would get some dialogue and conversations with them which would change depending on their relationship.

I would definitely pay to get more LI scenes, another side mission for them specifically would be cool too. I love the whole LI sub plots and I think a dlc for new scenes for all LIs would be amazing.

I would pay purely for more conversations to replace the copious amounts of boring autodialogue.

I tell you, once the ending is fixed, the face import patch is working properly I will gladly buy everything they put out...

when I have to, than even the two DA2 DLC's...

although... I rather pay for overpriced LI-DLC ONCE the ending is what is should have been day 1!

I would buy LI or squadmate centric DLC in a heartbeat. Given the extended cut does what I am hoping for.

From your title I thought you were talking about a DLC to add a love interest, in which I'm not in the slightest way interested (unless it's Femshep and Tali, which they probably wouldn't do). I'm glad I read the OP. That's a pretty good idea, but why not have one for all the squad mates, not just LI. 7 added hours of game play, perhaps new powers, new weapons, new armor, more EMS, and a non-multi-player way to get Galactic readiness up.

Not "romance DLC" but squadmates related quest and missions I might buy.

Offcourse it depends on what it is.

I wouldn't pay 50 $ for a Tali picture with no screenglare eg.

However it could be a Li specific mission and eg. in the case of Tali could make the character romanceable eventhough the player didn't own me2 (reuse dialogue from me2 but the mission would be new).

I don't know... Just random ideas.

Add LIs that never were. Drunk Parasini hitting on Shepard at Purgatory... Or Shiala appearing in your cabin "I sent you a fake message to know whether you cared for me or not"...

"Achievement Unlocked: Romanced 10 characters during 1 playthrough. Too bad they all died"

In any RPG, but especially in one like Mass Effect where your storyline is more or less set, the biggest difference you can experience gameplay-wise in multiple playthroughs is who you choose to romance.

so part of me finds it a bit silly to care so much about LIs, but the good majority of me knows that this actually makes sense.

so yeah, I'd pay for it.

Depends on the LI of course, but generally yes (give Vega for both genders plox).

It might be better though to bundle them in to a paramour LI since this is more likely to sell.

No. I have been spoiled by free DLC, so now I want everything for free.
