I think they could use the Skycar control thing in ME2 to make something like an space battle against a Reaper, but you control a fighter (like a co-op take earth back mission). Obviously, make the controlls better. I would pay a DLC for this.
HQ Defense: Much as someone said, capture an HQ and defend it till help arrives. The time changes by difficult. Also i would add to it that if you lose the position you have a new time to recapture it and the timer for reinforcements gets reset. Losing the HQ means reatriting to the starting/secure position. This is like on the final battle when you have to hold and protect a missile launcher on the middle of the street, it isn't a big place and you can be overriden. That's the idea of running to another position where you will have to start fighting all over again. If there's a need for do that obviously (dying means like always, mission over.)
PvP: Different factions with 4 players per team, plus AI on the battle, would love to see something like Eclipse vs Blood Pack. The AI would be like reinforcements each X minutes. The team with the bigger score/most kills/less deaths/more objectives completed (grab-this-intel-before-the-enemy kind of thing) You can also put some old school things on this (Capture the flag, etc.). There's a limit of spawns and also a limit for waves of reinforcement. This is a great idea but i know it would be hard to do it since practically you will need to create new files just for this mode.
Ground War: Just as the mission on the moon of Palaven where you meet Garrus, You have a base and you have to defend it by any means, till the enemy stops/retreats (wave system that is already used), but it would require new maps (that it would be also very good). Sounds as HQ, but in HQ you have to capture the position first, now you already have it and with HQ there's no real need to make new maps (money problems, since EA care so much about it)
VIP escort/rescue: There's an ally AI that holds important knowledge of the reapers, and you have to save him from the enemy faction (something like in the mission where you meet Jacob) or rescue him. The less damage he/she recives the more credits you win. Or for example, you are on earth, there's a downed vehicle and you have to escort the mechanic/engineer to that location (that would be a player as well)
Reaper Takedown: The idea said before. The whole team has to destroy the reaper within a timelimit and protecting each other from cannibals/husks (someting simple, not throw a banshee, that would be ubber hard)
Hijack/suprise invasion: The idea with this is for example, get in a Cerberus ship (god knows how), fight with the tripulation, get important data and disable/destroy the ship (Jack's favorite mode.)
Ring: PvP also idea, but no bullets, no powers, just melee. It is as it sound. For this it would be also great that we could chose a faction (2 players on Cerberus and 2 on the Alliance, or mabye 2 Eclipse vs 2 Blue Suns). For this mode you just have to make a very little map.
And much as said before, the Hardbinger idea, Boss Battles (in fact, the space-battle thing would count as this)
Game itself:
Custom armor for every character (make your own character as well would be nice) even though i think that would slower the load time (read and load every character code, it also can bring new errors/bugs)
New maps: Many of my ideas for new game modes before would need new maps, and you can't deny that it would be great if we have new maps for the game mode that we actually have. The location doesn't actually needs to be an important place on the Singleplayer, but i will be rather fighting in earth than in a fuel system that i don't know much about it. Also, love the idea of maps that you will need the flashlight.
New weapons: With the weapons so far the chances of gettin one in a random pack is very low, new weapons would increase that chance. It also would make the objective of "unlocking everything" more hard and long (no di*# joke intended)
Separate the packs: Now there's a special pack named "Equipment pack", the idea is that there's specific packs for weapons/characters/equipment, not only "limited pack".
And that's all on my mind.

We want.... a shrubbery!!
Also, playable Geth, maybe some new maps and LESS F-ING SHOTGUNS would also be kinda cool.

More diverse power specialization: Instead of just recharge speed and more damage, how about pick between a quick/good damage/single target power (throw for example) or a massive ball that has a huge area effect and high damage but has a long cool down (maybe 5-10 seconds with +200% recharge speed, compared to about 1.5 seconds for normal throw)
More devastating powers in general: most of the powers are underpowered and you have to spam them to kill enemies. It'd be awesome to be able to have heavy hitting powers at the cost of longer cool-down.
Make the soldier better: Out of all the classes, the soldier (specifically the human soldier) is the most underpowered. Past bronze, grenades/carnage/concussion shot are all almost useless and adrenaline rush isn't strong enough to make it worth it.
Make a sniper-soldier class- I had thought that the turian soldier's marksmen would have a big bonus to sniping, but I was wrong. I'd love to snipe and not have to be an infiltrator to do heavy damage.
Improve weak/underpowered powers:
Carnage is worthless, it won't even kill a soldier on bronze and has to be upgraded to knock people down.
Incendiary grenades are borderline worthless as they do very little damage past bronze.
Incinerate is also borderline worthless, as it does extremely small damage.
The freeze power (its name escapes me atm) only freezes enemies without shields (and armor?), so past bronze there's barely anyone to freeze.

As awesome as that would be, that's literally a new game.

God, please no PvP. Just play Gears for that.

I've been seeing a few of these. Survival-type missions. I'd dig.

Defend the base. Large scale version of the hacking objective in the current game. Introduce turrets and emplacements back into the game. Make it so that exp gained during a match can be used to purchase medigel/tools/emplacements/barricades. Credits given based on how effective the team was at staying alive, as well as how far the team was pushed back and maybe a checkpoint or two of credits.
Reaper Invasion. Play as the reaper forces and try and take out the enemy squad/Alliance forces. Could be PvP friendly since Vanguard and Infil sorta make pvp unrealistic without introducing unfair immunities and massive damage resistance against certain types of attacks. Too annoying to balance. Reaper/Geth/Cerberes vs. Alliance is probably much easier to balance. The winning team receives a 25% boost to credits. Credits gained is based on time played, not individual exp in order to promote teamplay and discourage farming (credits have a falloff if the match starts to drag on until you start losing credits)
More customization. More maps. Balance the game's weapons before adding in new ones.

Cryo Blast. And its awesome. On my quarian engineer, I use cryo blast on a 200% cooldown reduction like a machine gun. I have like a dozen cannibals frozen at once. It lets my allies focus on larger targets, or the cannibals, while reducing the amount of incoming fire.
And just use incinerate on your next brute. Totally worth it.
Never played a krogan soldier, so idk about the other two. My team mates seem to like carnage.

Assault mode. Attack a geth/cerb/reaper base to reach the final boss/checkpoint. Credits given based on checkpoints throughout the map and how fast you complete the mission. Maybe have side objectives like a required enemy to kill along the way so Vanguards don't just charge through everything. Maybe also have a requirement for all teammates to be present to go to the next area.
Dig this!! But, why the vanguard hate? It would be a good way to incorporate those Barrier and Shields dispensers seen in SP. I found those really added something to the way I handled some situations.

I dig the concept, but sounds exactly like Gears 3 horde mode. It would be nice to interact with defenses, but instead of spending exp or creds, you have to acquire components on the map. It would make it interesting, loses a pair of guys on defense, btu if they succeed they give defense an edge.

You guys are making me cry with all these cries for Versus(PVP). I would like to play the bad guys, but again, they did that in Gears 3. Still though, playing a Phantom would be stupid fun!!

Just 1 more thing I'd like to see the double throw in multiplayer or just a new adept or Krogan class with double throw.

- New Races (Geth, Vorcha, Batarian)
- New Maps
- New Modes (Linear Mission, Boss battles)
- New Weapons
- New Enemy Factions
- Separate Store Packs (Character pack, Weapon pack, Mod pack)
- Remove Character card once all Appearances are unlocked
i will add some stuff there ^^
- for the race, prothean was said a couple of time
- for the map more different place and one in particular....one out in the space like at the end of Arrival
- for the modes, hold the line one! on homeworld is an exelent idea, i want to see more of thessia, palaven, rannoch,...
- for the weapon maybe different heavy weapon and the one from the dlc, preorder and collector will be nice.
- for the enemy, we have the collector, yes we have destroy the main base, but we have annihilated them... like a soo huge base have only one ship... indoctrinned mercenary will be nice fighting some other race. (for the linear and boss mission)
- the separate store packs is a very good idea, it was already put in a way with the equipement one. why not put a limitation like 1 item by pack? in random.
i will add a few idea from myself:
- one customizable power like we got for shepard, for allows us to make up a bit more our carater.
i support too the idea to give use more customization for our toon like armor and all

I think a timed survival mission would be nice, as an alternative to the wave system. Basically, it's wave 11 on steroids. Story-wise, your team has completed the mission, but extraction is delayed and the enemy is closing in. There are no waves, just a constantly increasing amount of enemies---the map would have to have a "king of the hill" structure, with the players at an advantage. Because a waveless game has a higher intensity, this is also a perfect opportunity to give people the shorter games they're asking for.
Yeah, totally diggin' on this. The survival mode seems to be on a lot of people's minds. While we're all brain storming up in here, I have a question of the ones that have brought this up, or for those of us that like the idea: How do we make credits in this mod?

- Collectors (with harbinger)
- Mechs (ME2 mechs, remember the bastards??)
Maybe the mercenaries could team up. Talking about maps, anything on Omega and I'm happy, maybe the apartments where Kai Leng killed Lissele and found Paul Grayson.

Rather than spending your credits on packs and hoping for a good drop, change it to this:
You have a 4 tier store menu, with common, uncommon, rare and ultra-rare items, just like in drop packs. In the beginning, you can only buy the common items. But if you invest enough credits(It'll be a heavy investment, in order to encourage players to buy stuff at the tier they are currently at), you can unlock the next tier of store menu. In addition to buying better quality equipment, it's also an investment because you can buy more supplies at a discount.
However, I realize some players will still prefer getting packs, and to alliveate this, it should be more expensive up-front to buy, say, a rare item in the store than to get it in a veteran or spectre pack.

Playable Geth obviously, that's been said. It would fit into the story because the Geth can join up. Also a team of Hot Pink and Neon Green Synthetic soldiers fighting other Geth would be too cool. More original, not used by N7 mission maps. Sure, they can be extracted from SP, but the biggest complaint by most players are the maps were just ripped from SP. More mission objectives, the 4 that are they're now are getting a bit repetitive. Also, maybe Mercenary Group or Loki enemies.
Wait, 4? What 4? There's a fourth?!
But yeah, more objectives. Been bogging my brainpan for ideas on that, but they'd have to do a serious overhaul of current maps, or simply put them in new maps.
Also, the SP N7 missions were based off of MP maps, not the other way around.

My most desired character/class would be a Prothean (Adept/Vanguard). If they do incorporate one, I hope that its powers have that greenish glow, and not the blue of other races if they share powers with them (ie throw, pull, charge, etc). Not a game breaker if they don't, but it would totally help the immersion.
