Future MP Content - What Do We Want?

What I'd like to suggest is a variant on a gamemode from one of my favorite RTS games, World in Conflict's Assault mode. It had maps with a fixed series of increasingly hardcore defensive positions; one side would be attacking and another defending. The two sides would change after a set time ran out, so the attackers would then defend whatever territory they had taken successfully. The game had lots of destructible terrain so you could really mess up the place by the end of a long match.
So in the context of Mass 3, you'd have a large map with a series of objectives to attack and hold for a set amount of time each. After you'd fought your way through to one end, you'd then have to hold for five or ten minutes against a ferocious counterattack. Instead of extracting, you'd actually just have to survive as best as possible and you'd get bonuses based on how many points you successfully defended for the duration. Since the map is linear as you fight from one end of the map to the other, it could use very different layouts from the standard horde-type maps we have now. I think Priority: Sanctuary's map could quite easily be adapted.
I'd also like to echo the suggestion for a flashlight map in caves or at night; I'd love a map where it was raining.
Going off the codex somewhat, missions where you had to escort or move a bomb into a landed reaper or a reaper processing facility would be pretty cool and fit with the lore. I agree that having boss battles against landed Destroyers would reduce the awesomeness of Shep in the main campaign, but Codex: Reaper War talks all about Turian and Krogan commandoes running nukes into landed reapers. That's fair game IMO and sounds metal.
I would love a "Greatest hits" tour of mass one and mass two locations as MP maps - virmire, therum, feros, ilos, haestrom, the citadel - all using their respective music tracks.

So, I've been observing BioWare's response to most requests. They keep saying "Well, what do you want?" and no one has actually told them, they just say "change this!"
Anyway, I've also been noticing a lot of fun ideas for new MP content, and I wanted to open a thread of us to just say what we want in regards to MP content. I'll start.
Obviously, we want new races to play. Personally, I would really love playing a vorcha. On a silly note, it would be awesome for a vorcha engineer to have a suicide-bomb explosion set to his (Y). And his model could be covered in explosives. Since there's no friendly fire, it would be nice to sacrifice yourself to kill the brutes and banshees that are eating your team, but yeah I'm totally stretching here.
As far as future maps, I hope they give us more objectives. I understand that adding new objectives to current maps would be a large undertaking (albiet not unheard of), but perhaps some objectives that are more in line with the SP N7 missions - like protect the civilians for extract, bring the reaper tech to the shuttle, etc. Maybe new maps can have a static Wave 10 objective, unique to the map, that add a different expectation from the map you're playing.
As far as locale, I woudl love to fight on more homeworlds, specifically Thessia. I wouldn't mind a Palaven, or the moon from SP, but Thessia was awesome IMO.
My last idea (for this first post) is for a new enemy type. Husks. Just waves of dozens upon dozens of husks. Call it Huskalypse, or Apocahusk. And then special threat waves (ie 5, 7, 9 and 10 on silver) are just Husks with the armor from Marauders. But, you know, like two dozen of them. Granted, vanguards would have a field day with this type. Also, it shouldn't be available with Unknown Enemy.
One of my team mates was pondering on an endless mod, with objectives every three rounds. I'm pretty sure I'd need more rockets for that kinda business...
So, yeah, open floor. There is no wrong answer: What do you WANT?
Id suggest racial changes as well, like being able to select male and females of the respective races.
Not just males and females humans, my biggest tick is the no male quarians.
and pretty sure many people have suggested other types of gameplay..
like Assault or missiong objectives..and not just go around in tiny maps repeating the same type of tiny objectives again and again.

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a scenario map based on the ending sequence of ME3's singleplayer, pushing towards That Objective alongside AI controlled Makos and air support gunships. I'd assume the special forces team/s would be there for that.

A few more baddie races, more levels, more playable races, and heavy weapons (they're so heavy that you can't use powers; carrying a Geth Spitfire would be awesome).
I'd pay for it all in a proper MP DLC pack.

it would be awesome to have mini games where you have to get into a gun and shotdown enemies while others pilot..
a la battlefield 3.

I'd personally like a Quarian whose abilities intrigues me. I have thought about this a bit and think that a way to make the Quarian engineer (a second one probably) interesting, while also keeping race "uniqueness" would be to give her Sentry Turret, Combat Drone, and Decoy; but, that's likely over the top. Would be fun though.
Also, would like to see more customization options; armor for humans, better options for skin tone for aliens. The skin tones available are simply... unimaginative.
Edit: Oh yes, Turian Infiltrator and Engineer.

Geth infiltrator.
Hijackable Atlases. Which could then lead to a "Steal the Atlas" mission on wave 10.
Thresher maws like the good old days.
Power mapping.
Mob rush waves with only cloaking units. Phantom menace? Hunter pack? They should also spawn at all points of the map, not just at the locations where you have no squadmates.
Ravager rush. Unless everyone wants a rush of invisible banshees.
Purchasable reset cards. Or simply... use credits to reset, dang it!

They should have an Earth map where you push to the finish, however I can see how that will take away from the concept of the N7 Spec Ops team. Kinda weird to raise your Galactic Readiness by making the final push...
The ideas I'm hearing a lot are Assault-style and some form of Defend the Base. BioWare would be wise to think on these two ideas, amiright? I think we've put out some really good ideas, as a whole. Keep 'em coming, I say!

Armor from the single player, more visual customization options, new weapons (you know they're going to put out armor and weapon DLC for the singleplayer), new maps, new game types other than waves.
You know, this kinda ties in to customizable armor (which I totally support), but was I the only one that was a little disappointed that all the characters on the character select screen were all static images? I would have love to see the characters change colors to match how you colored them. I know no one would have been able to see it but yourself, so I ain't mad over it or nothing.
I would love customizable armor, even if it was only cosmetic. Actually, just cosmetic changes would make it more accessable, right? But if I had to choose content over appearance, I'd prefer content. But both would be worth some money.

- Enemy factions
- Playable races w/ different abilities
- More objectives
- Maps
- Character customization + more weapons.
- Weather effects (like snow and rain)
I think sets of missions (similar to the Left 4 Dead chapters) would be nice to have so long as they are interesting and not rushed. I'd be more specific but I don't really see a need for it since I'm sure I'd be happy with whatever they decide to add so long as it isn't completely senseless.

I would like to throw out there that this game's MP needs more maps, cause six isn't enough. I would like to see other maps put into the game.
-Citadel
-Palavin's Moon
-Earth
-Inside a Reaper
-Collector Base
*Illusive Mans base
*Inside Geth Server
*Thessia
*Rannoch
*The asari Monestary
*London Streets
*afterlife
*Some kind of dark map using flashlights to see (I'd like to see omega like this)
*Someplace with a beach
*Woodsy area
*ILOS
*Earth's Moon
*Geth Dreadnaught
*Mars Map
*Rachni Cave
*Eden Prime
*asari Monestary
Husk only mode would be crazy.

And as OP said. Different missions, different objectives, different maps... Maybe a Hold-the-line or defend-the-fort type of map where you actually defend someone or something important and have to camp it out wave after wave, and not let the enemy do significant damage to some defensive barrier that is up (by default) for protection.

tl;dr Lobby that adds some RPG elements.
Maybe maps where you would move forward all the time like single player just with more enemies and chokepoints etc.

- making the existing pointless classes playable (Drellguard, Quarian Engie)
- making SMGs usable
- balancing the existing weapons (at the moment GPS and [Black] Widow > rest)

Also, recycling some of the single-player maps into MP would be good as well.
