Personally, I'd like Mission Mode, where you get a lot more money-making objectives.

It's rather annoying to play in Gold and Silver for actually relevant amounts of money, have to wait until round 10 for the third objective mission, only to get wiped by the hardest wave of the game.

I didn't see this thread, but I had an idea for an addition of my own, that isn't necessarily groundbreaking but could put a good reward system in place to receive extra equipment.

Also I would like to see possibly adding in the flying reaper things, can't recall their name off the top of my head, also a possible protect the VIP mode, whereas one random squad member is chosen and to win the objective you must keep him alive, this person regains shields @ 2x the normal time, runs faster and cannot go invisible. Possible to award extra credits for remaining HP or something like that.

New maps
Just a few suggestions: (Menae, Eden Prime, Omega and Illium)

Better character customization
skin tones, armor patterns, etc

A higher difficulty mode
Maybe a randomized mixed mode? Imagine a game that spawns Cannibals, Geth Hunters, Ravagers, Phantoms, Banshees and Geth Primes?

Friendlier unlock system
Maybe resell unwanted items back for small amount of credits like, 500 for an ammo pack or something?
Another 'pack' focused on Ultra Rares?

Choose your powers pack, a random store item that allows you to apply to one class the choice to swap 1, 2 or 3 powers for other powers in that classes field for instance if i like my salarian engineer but not the decoy ability i can use this item to change it for turret or whatever. Now that i'm thinking about it how about a create your character mode where all the powers and armour colours cost creds to buy.

Unique enemies and enemies with more diverse power sets. In me1 there were Asari commandos that were a **** to kill.

Customizable armor
More race/class options or just do away with the presets and allow certain classes for the races you can pick.

Named mobs ala diablo where the enemy would be a commander with a randomly generated name and has near player grade weapons and powers. Maybe even a rarity spawn on such enemies.

Multi player london assault where you play the platoons on one of shepards flanks, and how long you can hold out or survive helps in single player.

Also the missile launch area in london would make an awesome MP map, not sure how it would fit in storywise though......

- New customization options like new armor ( I want Wrex's armor or blood pack armor on my Krogan)
- Collector enemy type
- New aliens/classes (male quarian, etc)
- New maps from important locations in the trilogy (Omega streets/nightclucb, Feros Bridge, Collector ship, Illos, etc)
- Maps structured like an actual mission, going from point A to point B, almost like left 4 dead?

If someone else suggested this, then sorry, but I'd like to see an alternate leveling system with enemy classes/specific characters that pit 4 player controlled enemy characters against waves of enemy, or a mode allowing 4 players to control random enemies each wave against 4 other players controlling random enemies each wave.

Much was already stated so i sum my wishes:

New maps
New enemies (Collectors, mercenaries come in mind)
New weapons
New races - Elcore would be super - heavy ponderous with special selection of heavy guns, but without much powers, a race without weapons would be also interesting (Hanar) .
Trade system
Text chat

More variability in games.
Add more enemy types to each race - for some wave use only limited selection but in greater numbers (husk wave levels)
Add more mission goals:
Boss fight (could be something like named characters)
Capture a specimen - team have to capture a specific enemy or enemy type (with special weapon), then move it to extraction point and wait for shuttle.
Escort - team get spawned special drone that move upon activation to destination with several stops.

Also could be fine to have selectable consumables and of greater selection>
Take cobra missile Or cerberus like turret
One time invisibility (tactical cloak, with limited number of uses without bonuses) or ammo refill.
Limited duration boost to shield and resilience instead of health packs.

Maybe some optional model swaps - i.e., ME2-style Turian/Krogan armour, or additional patterns for armour sets.

Another enemy faction or two would be cool - perhaps the various merc groups from ME2 (Blue Suns, Eclipse, Blood Pack, Shadow Broker troops, the Batarians from 'Arrival', etc.). There's enough variety of enemies to make that work - especially if things like YMIR mechs are revived to fill the needed 'Atlas/Brute/Geth Prime' big honkin' b***ard role...

Just a few things I`ve been thinking of.

Turian Infiltrator; Overload,Tactical Cloak, Marksman two passives.
Asari Sentinel; No Tech Armor, Barrier, Cryo Blast, Throw(or Incinerate Slam)
Krogan Vanguard; Charge Warp and Carnage(throwback to ME1) who wouldn`t be scared of this?
Couldn`t think of anything for adept or soldier lol
New maps; Palaven, Thessia, Luna. These will be Reaper/ Collector only battles. Upped difficulty like instead of choosing bronze silver or gold choose platinum or call it Spectre difficulty. On the final round you fight a Reaper.

Enemies; Mercs(the three from before) Collectors, and Geth Colossus and Armateures.

- More enemies. We need more variety in the enemy classes. Geth and Cerberus play fairly similar, imo, leaving really only the Reapers as the varied class. And after operation Goliath, I'm a little tired of the Reapers.

- More maps, and not just more big maps, but a few claustrophobic ones would be fun too. And in the spirit of the OP's suggestion of more objectives, they could just do those on the new maps. That would save them having to spend too much time reworking the old ones.

- More classes to play, obviously.

However, all these things will undoubtedly only come in the form of paid DLC.

New maps and new bonus skills. Every class can choose one bonus skill to help them out. Team equipment mod. Meaning a mod slot for some sort of team bonus. Like team Cryo Ammo. New foes and new weapons.

My usb mic doesn't work with this game. It is the only game that I've ever had a problem with. How are people supposed to communicate with each other in the lobby, in game, or even in general? What if I'm playing during the night and speaking would be rude to those sleeping? Its not like I can pantomime instructions or messages to other people. Please, text chat for lobby and in game. 

More maps! (will happen)
3-5 more maps would be excellent. A pack would be the most logical course of action. Please, be reasonable and offer a pack that has variety. 1 or 2 maps should be semi small, 1 map should be large, and the remaining maps would be a mix. 

More Objectives! (might happen)
Hoard mode will get very very tiresome.There are many ways people could play cooperatively other than survive waves of enemies. I'd post some ideas on what I think they should introduce but i'm a realist and I think they take this feed back at face value, plus, i'm not getting paid to be creative for bioware.

More Enemies! (won't happen)
Variety is important. Fighting the geth, reapers, and cerberus will get just as old as playing on operation whitebase. The MP is strictly versus the AI, and not the players, so there will always be a decent portion of people who just mop up the AI and get bored and stop playing. 

More Weapons! (likely will happen)
At a certain point, a lot of people will have finished leveling up their favorite weapon. Then what? Where would a person go from there for progression? Easy, more weapons. This is a MP game of progression, and if you notice, a pattern will emerge from all this; you have to keep providing content for people to chase after. 
This would all be just more stuff to unlock, = more play time. 



Less Important: 

Customizable characters! (won't happen)
Changing the color and pattern on current mp characters is all the customizability we have, which is okay but I'd like to see the option to visually customize the armor like in single player. Ex - I can't stand the helmets on the human soldiers but I can't toggle them off or change them. It would be a nice change if I can unlock "Soldier Armor - HK Chest Plate" or "Adept Armor - Visor". This would all be just more stuff to unlock, = more play time.

More along the more maps idea, I'd like to fight on a/in a Reaper. But more rush style (a la battlefield 3), and be rewarded with a shot of a reaper exploding after extraction.

Also like to see some real big game.  Like geht colosus or reaper harvester.  No idea what cerebus would have though....
