Well, Kal'Reegar is reported KIA, but that doesn't mean he couldn't be found alive by a Turian patrol, pumped full of medigel, and kept in a stasis pod so that the infections don't kill him while he's being transported to a proper medical facility.

I think the fact that a side character is dead is not the point.

What is the point is that all the time spent on that character is pointless. Kal'Reegar's character is fictional, but I like to think his life meant something to his fans.

A great death in ME3 was the Krogan poet. Bioware took all of my tears when that came up.

Other side characters should have had similar attention.

This is actually a great opportunity for them. They've had a TON of bad press and sour customer relations...that's ongoing as I type.......what better way to turn it all around with something this game deserves......an expansion pack.

Not some cheap, thrown together tiny little nothing mind you, I'm talking a lengthy deal that not only covers all those loose ends they never tied up, but adds an ending that fits the granduer this trilogy deserves.

Ending this trilogy on a very high note would be a win/win for Bioware. May even cause a domino effect as far as their upcoming properties are concerned. They would sell more copies of ME3, plus they would completely shift the tide...sorry...tsunami....of bad feelings that currently reside in the minds of way too many fans...or former fans.

Balls in their court......let's hope they hit an ace.

Snap. Plus scanning the keepers in 1 (email in 2) and that corporate investigator woman (Noveria in 1 and Illium in 2).

What happened there?

"Corporate investigator woman"? So disrespectful to her awesomeness.

You mean - Gianna Parasini from Noveria in ME1 - yeah that totally blows she's not in #3. Same for Emily Wong, the reporter from ME1 and 2.

And guess what, she gets offed in viral marketing. I **** you not.

I just... wouldn't it be a little ridiculous if, of all the people in all the galaxy in all the years it's been, you keep running into the same 20 people over and over again?

I mean, I love cameos as much as the next people, and sure I miss seeing some of the people I've met before, but just wandering down the hallways of the Citadel and there's the biotic god, and Parisini, and Lorik Quinn, and Toombs, and whoever else sitting at a table together? Come on. Doesn't that stretch credulity?

But she goes out like a fking champ. I yelled "FOR EMILY YOU SON OF A ****!" the first time I killed a Reaper in the game. No lie.

Nope, he doesn't appear. There's not even an email.

Big missed opportunity, imo.

Seems like this is common with this game, a lot of missed opportunities. I hope some of the better ones comes as dlc, like taking back Omega.

And to think I got upset after my xbox got the red ring and had to re-buy ME2 thinking I had to finish the trilogy without being able to see these great characters to the end.  Seems like it didn't matter

They probably couldn't get Adam Baldwin again and so they did that to Kal.
At least I hope that was the case. If they passed on Agent Casey...

The true question is why did they cut the perfect ending from the leak script that would make fans happy?

Shiala: Sends you an email.
Rana: Killed off screen.
Emily Wong: Killed off Screen
Kal: Killed off Screen
Giana Parasini: No where to be found
Toombs: No where to be found
Lorik: No where to be found
Biotic God: No where to be found
Elnora: No where to be found
Morlan: No where to be found

The lack of actual side quest and side characters, and the abundance of fetch quest (we all loved those in DA2) is just more evidence that ME3 was rushed.

I don't think it was rushed so much as the addition of multiplayer prevented Bioware from tying up some loose ends in the single player game. If the devs working on multiplayer had instead been working on aspects of the single player game, some or all of those characters who were no where to be found, would probably have been in the game.

What was that ending? I never read the script and avoided spoilers prior to release.

That's because Emily Wong died during the attack of the reapers on earth. Was on the BW twitter feed.

If you did destroy and survived, your LI would pull you out of the rubble and you and her/him would look at the dead Reapers.

Gianna Parasini is not in mE3 because the original story of ME3 was changed. Had they kept the original story, she would have been in the game.

Sidonis. I suspect he'll be in the Omega DLC. Which I won't be buying.

Omega and Illium DLC say what?

Rumors based on the fact that Omega and Illium were in the script I believe. I haven't read the script myself, but people who have are speculating that we would get DLC devoted to either one, or both, because Shepard was supposed to visit both places in the original script.

I want FIRST, is a kind of Han solo, very nice to do a couple of missions with him or better to have it aboard ! :)

In a galactic war you need an expert smuggler like him ;)

I didn't give a **** about the kid, but Charr's death plus the story of the PTSD Asari huntress and the dying Quarian on Rannoch who said to tell his son that his father had reache the Homeworld, those were so sad
