If you destroyed what, the citadel? I read that the prothean was originally intended to be the catalyst not the DEM. But I coulnd't find any notes on the endings specifically, just some dialogue.

EA RUINED THE CREDIBILITY OF BIOWARE.

The lack of actual side quest and side characters, and the abundance of fetch quest (we all loved those in DA2) is just more evidence that ME3 was rushed.

I'm going to have to agree. It's obvious they were really rushing to put this game out from what I have played. More so then even ME1/ME2 which is a bit frightening. I really laugh at everyone who thought a 2011 November release was viable. The only reason they pushed it back was probably not so much for polish, but simply because the game just wasn't finished. Actually I believe they said they were still working on details for the ending in November.

They probably should have delayed the game to 2012 November now that I think about. Then they truly would have had the time to have been able to tie everything up I think. We probably also could have got some decent endings with different cinematics too. I dunno if the idea behind the Reapers would have been any better, but at least I'd have some reason to replay the games.

Though the lack of ME1 cameos is probably more likely the result of the PS3 version. PS3 owners can't ever access that stuff so using development time to include something only Xbox and PC players could see was probably considered a waste of time. Kind of pisses me off. And I say that as someone with a PS3 myself. Pandering to new demographics is just stupid when the whole appeal of this series is importing your save to continue your Shepard's journey. Better to make a really great game that longtime fans will love, rather then one that tries to appeal to everybody and is at best good.

Apparently there was supposed to be a line where Zaeed says he went after Vido during your incarceration but Vido got captured and killed by husks. Don't you love it when content that actually metnions your actions is cut?

Bioware seems to have clued in that actually representing the full extent of a player's potential actions would actually be *difficult*, and then put all their energy into creating scenarios where your choices can be totally negated the second you've finished making them.

Did you kill the Rachni Queen? Doesn't have to impact the story at all! Just reskin her model and call it a "horrific bio construct". That's totally different right? It totally demonstrates that the choice of whether or not to wipe out a species had long term and profound repercussions.

Did you kill the council, or hand control of it over to humanity? Meh! We'll retcon the latter and replace the former with identical characters with different voice actors.

Did you destroy the Collector Base? No worries! The Illusive Man (who previously had to rely on Shepard and his small crew of loyal squadmates to do his wetwork) still winds up with enough Reaper technology to create a personal army capable of laying siege to the citadel!

Did you destroy Maelon's research data and reaffirm Mordin's convictions about the genophage? Pf, Shepard's opinions don't matter. Mordin is a man of principle!

Did you hand Legion over to Cerberus! No problem! We'll replace him with a "Geth VI" reconstruction that's functionally identical in every way... huh, noticing a pattern.

Did you pick control, destruction, or synthesis? LOL! Who cares, the game ends the exact second the explosion does.

I have to admit that pains me. I wanted Emily on board. Oh well, Allers is only worth 5 asset points. I can't wait to have my renegade femShep tell her to get bent.

It's a shame about Sidonis. I thought I heard that he had turned himself in at the Citadel? It went on to say that because the Citadel doesn't have authority over Omega, they didn't know what to do with him - or something along those lines.

I was kinda hoping he would redeem himself by taking a bullet for Shep or Garrus.

Big missed opportunity, imo.

the biggest opporitunity missed here was creating a satisfying ending that actually did what we have all been promised from the beginning. that is a far greater crime. bioware also missed a big opporitunity to gain back fans from da2 endings and also prevent more from leaving. now bioware will see great reduction in profits and their games will not sell very well because of the grave injustice they have caused against their supporters, fans and indeed their own creation which is the greatest story ever told and a masterful work of art. totally ruined and down the drain.

Giana parasini,Sidonis and Toombs receive a cameo in the leaked script but Bioware decide delete the parts..

Bad decisions of Bioware,delete much content for the Leaked script and the result is a game with a "inconsistence"in few scenes.

I read the leaked script too, and I noticed some of it was missing in the final game. Glad I'm not the only one. I mean, I remember hinting to people how great certain dialogues would be... and then they don't show up in-game.

you know what. that does kind of ****** me off. I like Jessica Chobot, I really do, but I dont really enjoy her on my ship in ME3, every line she speaks is so drab. I would kick her off, but I feel like too much of a nice guy to do it >.>

and the fact that her character was probably going to be Emily Wong from the start, and then Wong was killed on TWITTER to cover it up... really irritates me.
