I'm only  4 hours into the game and loving it. I'm also, aware, because I do not live in a cave, that the only natural ending it can have, is Shepard dying (This is not a spoiler, as I have no clue as to what the actual ending is like, but death feels like the only right end.)

For people to complain that it wasn't "as heroic as they expected" is utterly, astonishingly idiotic. While at it, boycott your favorite musicians. Tell them to only write X types of songs because you only like THEM. Hell, mail your favorite authors about writing ONLY ABOUT THINGS YOU LOVE! Let's kill ALL creative freedom and just petulantly stomp our feet and beg for our nerdy white blubberbellies to be pandered to.

Are you serious?

I am not a forum poster. I will most likely not return to chek replies on this thread, but as a fellow artist, I wanted to give the team my heartfelt support and congratulations and tell them to not change one iota about their masterpiece.

Whiners and geeklords, fat goth chicks and nude modders, burn in hell, you subnormal bunch of self-serving dweebs.

Finish the game before you comment on the ending, the game I agree is masterful, but please give it some more time

Welcome to a world where consumers don't just bow for anything because you want them to.

That's life.  You produce something.  If people like it, they buy it. If they don't, they don't buy it.  That is pretty much a universal rule of the world and it discriminates against nor favors anyone.  Just because one is an artist doesn't make him exempt from, well, reality.

How can someone who hasn't even beat the game bash people who hate the ending. I guess the bandwagon isn't as full as I thought.

I will be very disappointed if Bioware changes the ending. Giving into whiners is bad practice. Its Bioware's game, NOT yours. If you don't like it, try getting a life.

Good job Bioware. And don't second-guess your product that so much work was put into.

PS before anyone says something stupid, I never specified if I liked the ending or didn't like the ending. IT DOESN'T MATTER. The sooner you realize that, the better. Welcome to life?

WOW, ok... Rather than retort I will be plain. Continue playing. No bashing on our end to your efforts. However, we do have a right to exert our voice to a product we are dissatisfied with. This is art, but this is art we purchased in a chain of art over 5 years with certain expectations in mind. All because it is art, it does not nullify the capitalistic aspect of its origin or its expectations. The consumers have rights just as much so as the creators. If you disagree that is fine. I am not offended. However, please be aware that "whiners and geeklords" while sometimes accurate (yo) is also at the same time not necessary for a civil discussion. I don't mind giving a proper outline to my thoughts. It is my way of doing things.

Heh, you totally got it wrong. Very few are complaining about Shepard's eventual death. That is not the issue at all. It goes beyond that.... which I'm not gonna spoil, of course.

When you face the ending, drop by here, and we shall welcome you with full hearts and diamonds regardless of your opinion on the ending.   But do not try to understand what we have seen until you finish the game and see it yourself.

What an asinine view you have, first of all I recommend you finish the game before giving your idiotic opinion. Then have a quick read of what people want changed, I think you will find it reads more along the lines of "we want it to make sense". This wouldn't be the first time a games ending has been extended, fallout 3 extended the story past it's original end with "broken steel" and I don't remember people complaining about that but then again that was more fan service, as opposed to simply trying to filter out the copious amounts of **** that currently plagues the ending (see mass effect 3 ending) - oh wait your yet to finish it.

I'm only about 5 missions into the game, and I love it too. Pretty sure Shep will die or have some kind of transcending experience (fingers crossed).

To those who don't like it, see this as your opportunity to jump this corporate ship.

And check out which thread hasn't been locked yet?

Wasn't Stanley calling the movement out for being derogatory towards people with a different opinion?

Weird.

Thank you for commenting on something you haven't experienced and obviously didn't bother to research before making a hate-filled rant just to spout bile and cowardly flee without facing a reply.

Come back when you can competently discuss the subject and act like an adult.

A lot of people don't understand why we don't like the endings.
Especially those of you who have not completed the game yet.

Our feelings and thoughts are more complicated than you may see.

Talking about a story here smart guy. By "product" I obviously didn't mean the dictionary definition.
