I'm only  4 hours into the game and loving it. I'm also, aware, because I do not live in a cave, that the only natural ending it can have, is Shepard dying (This is not a spoiler, as I have no clue as to what the actual ending is like, but death feels like the only right end.)

For people to complain that it wasn't "as heroic as they expected" is utterly, astonishingly idiotic. While at it, boycott your favorite musicians. Tell them to only write X types of songs because you only like THEM. Hell, mail your favorite authors about writing ONLY ABOUT THINGS YOU LOVE! Let's kill ALL creative freedom and just petulantly stomp our feet and beg for our nerdy white blubberbellies to be pandered to.

I'm an artist, a writer more specifically, and there are flaws in ME3 that I wouldn't even go near. If an ameteur like me can spot the mistakes then Bioware should have never made them

You know, I was ready to excuse you since you haven't actually finished the game yet, but you had to put this in:

Would love to hear from you after you finish, either way.  But in a more civil tone, please.

Heh, you totally got it wrong. Very few are complaining about Shepard's eventual death. That is not the issue at all. It goes beyond that.... which I'm not gonna spoil, of course.

When you face the ending, drop by here, and we shall welcome you with full hearts and diamonds regardless of your opinion on the ending.   But do not try to understand what we have seen until you finish the game and see it yourself.

Oh and Shepard lives in the "perfect" ending anyway. Thats already written.

By the way, there's no creative freedom in the ending. It's rushed and complete non-sense, probably because of some pressure from the publisher. That's what people are angry about, not the fact that Shepard dies.

This has to be trolling. If not, does he think he is cleaver to criticize us criticizing the ending when he hasn't even seen said ending. This is either hilarious or sad.

the game is awesome.. but the last 10 minutes of the game just ruined the whole series and gives you no reason to replay any of it whatsoever.

No one hates the Game.
A Good Majority HATE THE ENDING!
The Game is and will forever be AMAZING. All three of them.
The Ending is an Abomination is Good Writing.
Remember the Rachni? How you may have saved them? Well you probably should have just killed them off because it doesn't matter in the end.
Oh stopping Saren and Soveriegn from summoning the Reapers? No Point! There's an AI kid who controls the Reapers, Why bother?
Collector's taking Humans and Building Human Reaper? Do you know why they did that? For the laughs, just to make Shepard mad, because you know Reapers hate Shepard and what not.
Your Friends? The ones that you would call Brothers or Sisters at arms? Fight To the End? The Jump on a Ship with Joker and Got the Heck out of Dodge while you lay still after getting blasted by Harbinger.

That's why people hate the Ending, that's why the whole Triliogy gets ruined.
Because everything you did in all 3 games meant NOTHING in the End. We Lose no matter what we do.
"But You took Earth Back!" WHAT DOES THAT MATTER NOW? THE LAST SCENE OF THE GAME ISN'T EVEN ON EARTH!!!!

Thank you for commenting on something you haven't experienced and obviously didn't bother to research before making a hate-filled rant just to spout bile and cowardly flee without facing a reply.

Come back when you can competently discuss the subject and act like an adult.

Finish the game before you comment on the ending.

And while you're getting to the end of the game, contemplate a few things.

Prince of Persia
Fallout 3
Alan Wake

and other games where the ending was rewritten in DLC after the release.

Can't wait to see you on the line in another 20 hours.

Hey hey hey!

Leave Alan Wake out of this! :wizard:

You sir, are a moron. If you even took the time to learn the REASON behind why we dislike the endings, you'd understand. We are not upset that shepard dies, we are upset because there is no closure whatsoever, and there are more holes in the plot than stars in the universe! The games ending blows any sort of logic out the airlock, it's as if the writers were stoned while writing it.

I cannot wait until you finish the game. I bet you yourself with be joining the caurse very soon once you realise how shockingly bad the ending is to this FANTASTIC trilogy.

Fallout 3: Broken Steel is the elephant in the room for all of these arguments. It happens to moo like a cow, as well.

I'm a writer, and being a writer I know all the ways that this ending sucks ass. If I could be a videogame writer I'd LOVE the chance to go back and fix things that I thought were wrong with my ending, especially if I wrote something which accidentally contradicted things I wrote before or which pissed off the very fans I wanted to satisfy.

OP you're welcome to your opinion, but bear in mind having not reached the ending you are commenting based on second hand experience. Also there is definitely no need for the out and out insults. If you want to critique us then do so, but at least do it with reasons and civility.

EDIT: Also to all the people being rude to the OP and people agreeing with him it's not going to solve anything or change his/ their mind(s), c'mon guys keep it clean and argue with logic and reason not petty exchanges and dismissals.

Thanks for your feedback. What's your favourite subnormal, self-serving moment so far?

This is another example of the sort of writing you'd adorn with a rubber stamp and immediately ship come what may. Except this rubber stamp would read "U Just Wonned Big Tyme!"
