So, I've got 3/4 times Javik (three red endings)... Ummm, ok... What was yours? Joker, LI, Javik for me.
 On green ending it was Joker, EDI and Liara (LI). What was yours? What happens if you stay alone? M.

It was Garrus for me; he was also in my final squad.

Garrus and Kaidan. Kaidan was in the final squad and was my LI. Garrus was not in the squad.

I think it's supposed to go Joker - LI - Person you interacted with most.

For me, the first ending I did (Control, accidentally), I got Joker, Kaidan, and EDI. Even though I never took EDI with me anywhere.
Second ending (Destroy), only Joker and Kaidan walked out. Bug?

Either way, Kaidan's magical transporting abilities, plus his ability to suddenly not care about leaving Shepard behind continue to amaze me.

Ok, I did accidentaly launched symbiosis ending. Reloaded in the first moment I saw EDI there...
Never used her.

If he survives the crash, he makes it back to the ship. Not sure how, but then I'm not sure how any of them got back onto the ship.

Shep 1: Ashley LI, Ashley and Javik stepped off the ship

Shep 2: Jack LI, Javik and Vega stepped off the ship (lol)

Shep 3: Liara LI, Liara and Javik stepped off the ship


EDIT: all Destroy/Shep Lives endings. It's the only one I ever choose.

Green ending - Joker, EDI, Cortez (LI)
Red ending - Joker, Cortez (LI), Garrus

I don't know how the third character is determined. If it's supposed to be the one you interact with most, it's bugged because I hardly used Garrus and while I would talk to him after major events, most of the time I forgot to.

Yes, I've read somewhere that the third character is the one with the most interactions. It is still strange to see that Javik ends up as the closest friend of Shep. Who is a human. And used to live in caves. M.

For control, it was Joker, Garrus, and Javik for me. I'd have liked it to be Tali or Kaidan for a sense of coming full circle... But that did lead to an amusing dialogue with a very pessimistic friend.

He assumed that the people who came off were the only survivors, and the Stargazer was the descendant of those 3, because they'd been stranded forever. My response was "My breeding population was Garrus, Joker and Javik. GODSPEED."

My currently only playthrough, Destruction:

Joker - Ashley - Vega.

Interesting: Vega was not part in my final squad. He saw a lot of action earlier in the game.

Not really.

On my both play throughs I used Kaidan/Liara/EDI heavily. As I hate Vega on second run I avoided him like a plague. Both runs Kaidan was my LI. Had all available conversations with Liara, Tali and Cortez.

First Run- Joker, Kaidan, Vega
Second Run - Joker, Kaidan, Vega again....  I was kinda had high hopes as on that run I couldn't invite Vega to Shep's room but invited Liara instead. Still had to see that mutated ape after that bitter ending.

I have ME3 on Xbox so I cannot take screen shots or use fraps, but I assure you that it happened and it was the destroy ending, perhaps some internet research can provide the evidence you need.

In my green ending (the only one I've done so far) I had Joker and EDI come out. Plus I think Garrus.

Also: do the people you bring with you to charge the beam always die storyline-wise, or can they survive and come out on the planet with Joker?

Garrus and Liara (LI) were with me at the beam.

Liara and Javik stepped out the Normandy.

Only did red ending, can't be bothered playing the game again.

Intersting. Will do some seraches on the net. Everybody usually says that EDI (and the geth) cannot survive the red ending. But it always bugged me thet the kid says "all synthetic life including geth", but never mentiones EDI...
