Is that the pirates always get to play before those of us who bought the games. I did my pre-order on Steam for the Deluxe Edition and I'm already reading reviews from individuals who have pirated the game.

Don't forget that pirates also don't have to put up with DRM, disc checks or anything like it...



But that's how it is, publishers can't just ignore local customs (Like standard release days), laws and deals with the distribution chain, so long as retail exists, so will rigid release dates.

EA shipped the game early to lots of people (myself included), and a number of people always receive advance releases specifically to do previews.

life sucks doesn't it. You should dispair of gods grace (if you don't know what that means then... i can't help you) before dragon age comes out because it hurts too much.

I have to agree... I was at Gamestop when they got their shipment today.  I had already paid 100% of my pre-order when I bought it a month ago and I can not pick it up until tommorrow.  Thats kinda dumb when the EA Store is shipping it to folks today.

I would understand if they didn't get it yet, but they had it right there.  Heck I couldn't even get the Guide that was also in the same shipment b/c it had a street date of 11/3.
