There is only one end to this game, and It's unlikely that will change,   however Bioware made it so that any number of outcomes could be generated, now or later with additional war assets, or content (DLC).  The final outcome you choose will be based on how many times your willing to reach back into your wallet.

The ending is not so terrible,  but we can all agree the meager amount, and negatively slanted outcomes do a disservice to the legacy of the franchise.
