Sorry for the crappy picture. I'm on Xbox, so I took a snapshot of my TV screen. I found these clothes on some guy called Master Ignacio or something. He was an assassin in that tavern in Denerim.

E-E-E-Error. Clearly not something you were meant to equip.

Clearly somebody found the warning label too tempting not to ignore.

Now we know they only texture half the armor when they can get away with it...

I found a similar one. From (a) Chamberlain in a keep. Don't remember which keep though. Probably when you go after Howe

That's a pretty awesome outfit, I would have loved to put that on Oghren :)

just about every company does this..unless there's a reason not to make it symetrical..so I don't see your point except pointing out the obvious

It's for armors that are gender specific. For example there are no male Chantry priests so the Chantry robes for male models don't have textures. Same for Morrigan's outfit. I forget which armors are male only, the Toolset will tell you though. The don't use textures are a courtesy to let builders know the armor wasn't meant for that model.

Fairly typical, why waste already strained resources on unneeded textures? The item should have restrictions on it though that prevent this.

Yes there are. You must be referring to the Revered Mothers outfit

The chamberlain in the Redcliffe castle, from which you get the vault key, is where you get the bugged outfit.

hm might this happen to female arcane warrior aswell ?

i got a lvl 8 female mage(elf) and she specced AW.. but when i done her the blood dragon armor.. the frontpart of her chestpiece is black while the legs/shoulders/belt parts are like it's supposed to be.. :S

tried disable and re enable dlc. but still get same results.

This texture takes less time and resources from the artists than coding restrictions in the game and toolset would take from the programmers. This isn't a waste, this is the cost and time effective solution.

Have you tried using the hotfix to correct this problem (assuming you are ona PC of course)?
