This is an apology out there to those of you who liked the endings and are being treated badly. There are PR plants out there for sure but not all of you are. Some people don't care about lore. I didn't in Dragon Age, Oblivion and Skyrim when I modded the heck out of my games....but for a game that really isn't modder friendly, the story should at least follow their own lore. This ending doesn't. The plot holes are so huge that even a casual player would notice. My son doesn't play the Mass Effect series but even he was like "doesn't blowing those fast travel thingy-s up destroy the whole solor systems?" when I showed him one of the endings. He learned about that when asking why I was playing ME2 right before ME3's release so I could have the "perfect" (for me) save.
Like I said, that doesn't matter to all people and different people's opinions are valid. Some people that are very passionate about this series can't understand how others can like the current endings. It is a little hard to understand but then again, there are people that like movies I don't too.
Can you imagine if at the end of the last Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort says "don't fight me Harry, I am your daughter!" That is the scale of lore, logic and plot breaking that the current endings entail. That is why some of us are so passionate about being disatisfied.
I put in a call for being civil to each other even if we disagree. Those of us who are the end users need to stick together and work constructively to encourage these companies to give us the best product possible.
Love it or hate it, let's be civil.

I do agree with most of what you've said, but I don't agree on everyone having a valid opinion. There's such thing as an invalid opinion.
"The endings are perfect and they can't be changed because art." is an example of a bad opinion, especially when placed against "The endings don't make sense and they must be changed to fit the narrative."

There are opinions I don't like, but since they are someone's opinion, they are valid for the person that has them. The only time this would be not true if it was some PR plant trying to do damage control. Their opinions aren't valid because they aren't opinions, they are propaganda. I can and will respect other people's opinions even if I don't agree with them. If we can get to that place together, maybe the time we waste arguing about opinions can be used to encourage some new ending content from BioWare. Even if you loved the current endings and are satisfied with the current product, new DLC should get you excited if you are a Mass Effect series lover.
